  • Method (as the source describes it): the top logged runs per dungeon on Warcraft Logs, median DPS per spec per dungeon, averaged across the 8 Season 2 dungeons.
  • It measures damage only. Interrupts, defensives, utility and group composition are not in the number, and top runs favour specs that top players choose.
  • Healers and tanks are not ranked here. Balance changes in patch 12.1.5 (13 October) can move specs between tiers.

What is the best DPS spec in Mythic+ in Midnight Season 2?

On the community tier list from mythicsim.com (Warcraft Logs, patch 12.1.0, 4 October 2026), S tier is Unholy Death Knight, Elemental Shaman, Assassination Rogue, Demonology Warlock, Arcane Mage, Windwalker Monk, Arms Warrior, Retribution Paladin. It ranks damage on top logged runs only — utility, survivability and group fit are not counted.

How is this tier list made?

It takes the top logged Mythic+ runs per dungeon on Warcraft Logs, uses each spec’s median damage per dungeon, and averages over the 8 Season 2 dungeons. The tiers are the source’s, not ours.

Does the meta change an account’s price?

Not measurably in our data: account listings are priced on item level, PvP titles and collectibles. A character on a strong spec can be easier to sell, but sellers rarely state the spec in the title.
