Conduit is an aggressive Support legend in Apex Legends who runs to teammates fast, tops up their shields with temporary regen, and walls off fights with a line of damaging shield jammers. In Season 30 (Marked) she is back in the meta after the 15 September Split 2 update sped up her ultimate and added two new Level 2 upgrades.

Conduit's abilities in Season 30
Passive: Savior's Speed
Conduit gets a 30% sprint speed boost when running toward allies who are outside her 50 meter tactical range. Since Season 29 the bonus rises to 35% when the ally is a Skirmisher. It turns a split squad into a regrouped one in seconds.
Tactical: Radiant Transfer
Radiant Transfer sends energy to a teammate and to Conduit herself, regenerating temporary shields. She has two charges, so she can cover two teammates at once. Current numbers, after the June nerf:
- Regen rate: 10 shield per second, over 8 seconds.
- Total per cast: 80 on an ally, 56 on Conduit.
- Cooldown: 30 seconds.
- New in Split 2: a preview on the shield bar shows how much temp shield the cast will end up giving.
Ultimate: Energy Barricade
Conduit fires a line of shield jammers that damage and slow enemies inside their radius. The community wiki lists seven jammers, 10 damage per second, a 15% slow, a 10 meter radius, 250 HP per jammer and a 45 second duration, on a 2.5 minute charge. Split 2 changed how it deploys:
- Deployment is smoothed out, so it fires faster and returns you to your guns sooner.
- You can toggle orientation while aiming to throw the jammers in a forward line.
- A HUD warning turns individual jammer markers red if they would break where you are aiming.
- Jammers spawn higher and closer together, covering more vertical space.
- Jammers activate significantly faster.
Conduit upgrades
| Level | Upgrade | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | Concurrency (new) | Refire Energy Barricade once with no cooldown within 10 seconds of the first shot. Jammers spawn tighter, with two fewer per barricade. |
| 2 | Jammed Up (new) | Jammers get a 25% larger radius, and enemies they damage have their HUD jammed for 10 seconds. |
| 3 | Instant Barrier | Get part of the temp shield instantly, but the regen lasts 2 seconds less. |
| 3 | Enduring Barrier | Temp shield regen keeps going while you take damage (no longer works against ring damage). |
Concurrency is the pick for pushing: two walls in ten seconds can box a team into a building or cut a third party off. Jammed Up is better for holding a zone, because anyone who walks through the bigger radius has their HUD scrambled for 10 seconds.
For Level 3, take Enduring Barrier if your team takes long gunfights and Instant Barrier if you play fast, short fights.
Every recent Conduit buff and nerf
| Patch | Change | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Season 29 launch (4 May 2026) | Split Charge folded into base kit (two charges); regen 20/s for 9s cut to 15/s for 6s; cooldown 27s; new Level 3 upgrades; +5% Skirmisher sprint bonus | Buff overall |
| Season 29 midseason (22 June 2026) | Regen 15/s to 10/s, duration 6s to 8s, ally total 90 to 80, self total 60 to 56, cooldown 27s to 30s, Enduring Barrier no longer counters ring damage | Nerf |
| Season 30 Split 2 (patch notes 14 September, live 15 September 2026) | Ultimate deployment, formation and HUD reworked; Battpack and Bigger Jam replaced by Concurrency and Jammed Up; shield preview added | Buff |
Respawn's reasoning is public. In the 30.1 designer notes, the team admitted the Season 29 buffs were too strong and that "her success homogenized the variety amongst squad compositions and pushed other Supports out of the meta." Their chart showed the pick rate spiking to roughly 14% at the Season 29 launch, then settling near 6% after the nerfs.
Respawn chose not to give Conduit's healing back. Split 2 put all of its buffs into the ultimate and into clarity tools. The design intent is clear: Conduit should win fights by placing jammers well, not by out-sustaining the enemy, so players who treat her as a pure healer will find her weaker than the tier lists suggest.
Best teammates for Conduit
Her passive points to the answer. Savior's Speed is strongest with Skirmishers, who run ahead and pull Conduit along at 35% extra speed:
- Pathfinder, Octane, Wraith, Horizon, Valkyrie: fast entries that Conduit can chase down and shield mid-fight.
- A Recon such as Seer or Bloodhound: scan data tells you exactly where to drop the barricade.
- A Controller such as Catalyst: doors and walls plus jammers lock down a building completely.
Avoid stacking a second healer. Conduit's two tactical charges already cover two teammates, so a third slot works better as damage or information.

Tips to play Conduit well
- Shield before the fight, not during. Temp shield builds over 8 seconds, so cast it as your team commits, not when someone is already cracked.
- Use the shield bar preview. It shows the final temp shield value, so you know if a cast is enough to take the next trade.
- Use the forward line. Toggle orientation to drop jammers along a corridor or ramp the enemy must walk through.
- Watch for red markers. A red jammer indicator means that jammer will break on placement. Shift your aim.
- Save Concurrency's second shot. You have 10 seconds. Use it to block the rotate after the enemy reacts to the first wall.
- Sprint to downed teammates. Savior's Speed only triggers beyond 50 meters, so it is a rescue tool for split squads.
