Launch
Korea and Taiwan since 19 November 2025 (PC and mobile). Global servers opened on 5 October 2026 after Advanced Access from 30 September 2026; NC reported 400,000 active players on launch day. Progress from Korea or Taiwan does not carry over.

Platform and login
Windows PC only, through Steam or NC’s PURPLE launcher on the same servers. The character belongs to an NC Account; Steam is only a linked way to log in.

Business model
Free to play. Special Quai Membership (per server, 30 days) unlocks the Market, the Kina and Quna Exchange and remote storage; the Daeva Pass has a free and a premium track per character.

World
Elyos against Asmodians, one faction per server, each Elyos server paired with an Asmodian one for the Abyss. Level cap 45 on global servers. 104 servers in five regions.

What sets an Aion 2 account’s price

Gear Score of the main character
The number sellers put first ("2437 GS"). It moves the price more than anything else: on our index, a 2,400+ Gear Score character costs several times a sub-1,200 one.

Region and server
A character lives on one server in one region. Transfers are allowed once per account, only inside the same region and faction, so buy on the region you will play from.

Combat Power and gear
Combat Power ("104k CP" or "BM") and named items: legendary amulets and belts, crafted weapons and enchant levels.

Class
Ranger is by far the most listed class. Support and tank classes (Chanter, Cleric, Templar) are fewer, which matters if you want a group role.

Alt characters
Several levelled characters on one account ("3 alts 45 lvl") are sold together and raise the price.

Membership, pass and login
Remaining membership days, a premium Daeva Pass and a Founder’s Pack are listed as extras. How the login works (Steam linked to the NC Account, or a PURPLE NC Account) decides what you receive.

Aion 2 FAQ
When did Aion 2 come out?
In Korea and Taiwan on 19 November 2025. The global version (North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America) launched on 5 October 2026 at 13:00 UTC, after Advanced Access for Founder’s Pack owners from 30 September 2026.
Is Aion 2 free to play?
Yes. The game is free to download on Steam and PURPLE. NC sells Special Quai Membership, which is needed for the Market and the Exchange, a premium Daeva Pass track and cosmetics.
Is Aion 2 on Steam?
Yes, as app 3393110, alongside NC’s own PURPLE launcher. Both connect to the same servers. Your characters belong to your NC Account; Steam is a linked login.
How many servers does Aion 2 have?
On 10 October 2026 NC lists 52 server pairs (104 servers): EU 23, NA East 9, NA West 5, Asia 9, Latin 6. Each pair is one Elyos and one Asmodian server.
Can I play Aion 2 from Russia?
No. NC lists Russia and Belarus, along with China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Belgium, the Netherlands, Serbia, Slovakia and a few others, as countries where the global version is not available. NC also says that playing through a VPN lowers an account’s trust status, which limits the Market and the Exchange.
Is it safe to buy an Aion 2 account?
NC’s Operation Policies forbid trading accounts for real money, with suspensions of 7, 30 and 90 days, so a bought account always carries that risk. What a buyer can control is the other risk, the previous owner taking it back: get the NC Account email and login, not only a Steam login. METAMMO accounts are checked by hand and carry a lifetime warranty against recovery by a previous owner (refund or replacement); bans are not covered.
