Wide area damage and high durability: a damage dealer that can also take hits.

How many classes does Aion 2 have?
Eight on global servers: Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, Cleric and Chanter. Korea and Taiwan added a ninth, the Brawler, on 6 July 2026; NC has not announced it for the global version.
What is the best class in Aion 2?
There is no global tier data yet. Korean tier lists rate Chanter highly for group PvE and Ranger, Gladiator and Sorcerer for arena PvP. For solo play the Spiritmaster’s summons make it the most forgiving. Our tier list article explains the reasoning.
Is the Spiritmaster the same as the Elementalist?
Yes. Korean guides translate the class as Elementalist; NC’s English client calls it Spiritmaster. Likewise, an early NC press release used “Marksman” for the Ranger.
Which class is easiest to sell or buy?
Ranger is the most listed class on the account market by a wide margin, so it has the most choice. Tank and healer accounts (Templar, Cleric) are fewer, which is worth knowing if you want a group role.
