Best class for PvE and PvP on the global servers, with the numbers behind the tiers on the same page: a CP-adjusted party damage index, who holds the top 100 Combat Power spots, the classes available on METAMMO today and the classes buyers actually chose in our completed orders.

This is our judgement, not a measurement. It weighs the party damage index and the top 100 Combat Power table below, how scarce each role is in groups, and eleven months of Korean meta, which runs ahead of global. All eight classes clear current content; the tiers matter most at the top end. Balance can move with any weekly patch: Aion 2 updates.

By goal
Best class by what you want
- Groups every night: Chanter, then Templar and Cleric. Supports are judged by showing up; damage dealers by Combat Power.
- Solo and high ping: Spiritmaster, or Ranger for levelling speed.
- First MMO: Gladiator.
- Arena and the Abyss: Ranger or Sorcerer at range, Gladiator in melee.
- Highest ceiling: Assassin, if you will put in the practice and the gear.
- Brawler: Korea and Taiwan only; NC has not dated it for global. NC
Roles and weapons of all eight: Aion 2 classes. A geared character in the class you want: buy an Aion 2 account.

What is the best class in Aion 2 right now?
For group PvE on global, Chanter: it buffs the party and still tops the CP-adjusted party damage index. For PvP, Ranger: it holds the most top 100 Combat Power spots in four of the five regions. Our tiers are an opinion built on that data, not a measurement.
What is the best solo class in Aion 2?
Spiritmaster, because its spirits take part of the damage and aggro, which makes it the most forgiving class alone and on high ping. Ranger is the other common pick for fast solo levelling.
Which Aion 2 class is easiest for beginners?
Gladiator: durable, wide-area attacks and few positioning traps. Ranger is the easiest ranged choice.
Which class do Aion 2 account buyers choose most?
Ranger. In our completed Aion 2 orders from 7 October 2026 to 23 October 2026, 11 of 36 with a class in the title were Rangers, followed by Chanter (7) and Gladiator (6).
Can you change class in Aion 2?
NC has not announced a class change on global. Trying another class means a new character, so treat the choice as permanent.
