Aion 2 beginner guide: 10 things to do first
Level to 45 on the main story, bank Odyle Energy from level 22, collect feathers and push one main skill. The ten steps below are what community guides for the global version agree on; each links to the page that explains the system. Community

Follow the main story to level 45
The level cap on global is 45. Episode quests (Journal, J) carry most of the experience; when the Ascension gauge stalls, clear nearby Regional quests and Sealed Dungeons, then return to the story. A first character takes about 10 to 15 hours this way.

Reach level 22 for Expeditions and Stigmas
Level 22 unlocks Expeditions and the first Stigma slot. Odyle Energy (15 every 3 hours, capped at 560) pays for the reward chest after an Expedition: bank it while levelling, because regeneration stops at the cap.

Do not over-enhance early gear
Quest rewards replace your gear every few levels. Enhance only when you are stuck on a boss, weapon and accessories first. The amulet is the exception: you keep it and upgrade it the whole game.

Collect feathers for the Monolith
Empyrean Traces (feathers) handed in at your faction’s Monolith give amulet enhancement scrolls; Monolith levels 10, 20 and 30 also give titles. Each home region has 560 feathers.

Set up a combat macro
Bind your skill rotation to one key and hold it with your mana builder; a short delay keeps the rotation clean. It saves effort in every dungeon.

Pick Specialties and Stigmas
A skill at level 8 unlocks its first Specialty. Put your points into the class’s main damage skill first; Stigmas open as you level from 22.

Engrave Manastones
Manastones add random stat lines to gear: one slot on Common items up to four on Unique. Two decent lines are enough on gear you will replace.

Turn on Power Shards for hard fights
Power Shards add damage while toggled on (key B) and use one shard per attack. Switch them off while levelling and keep them for bosses.

Claim titles and achievements
Every title you own adds a small permanent bonus, and three equipped titles give their full stats. Check the achievement list for quick unlocks.

Extract gear you no longer need
Extraction returns materials and adds the item’s look to your closet. Guides disagree on whether you also get the Kina back.

What is the level cap in Aion 2 global?
Level 45. Korea and Taiwan are at level 50, which is why some Korean guides mention content and numbers global players do not have yet.
How long does it take to reach level 45 in Aion 2?
About 10 to 15 hours for a first character that follows the main story and fills the gaps with Regional quests and Sealed Dungeons.
What is Odyle Energy for?
It pays for the reward chest at the end of Expeditions, which drops gear and enhancement materials. It regenerates 15 points every 3 hours up to 560, so spend it before it caps.
Should I enhance my gear while levelling?
Mostly no. Quest gear is replaced every few levels; enhance only when a boss blocks you. The amulet is the exception, because you keep and upgrade it for the whole game.
