How do Arcana work in Aion 2?

Arcana are cards for five slots (Chalice, Parchment, Compass, Bell and Mirror) that add a stat, skill levels and item level. On global they drop in the two Transcendence dungeons: gold (Unique) cards from stage 3 at 2,200 item level, the gold Chalice only at stage 4 (2,500). A gold card adds 80 item level, 85 at its +5 cap.

Aion 2 Arcana

Five card slots that add a stat, skill levels and item level. Arcana come from Transcendence, and the gold ones are the clearest sign of an endgame character. NC publishes no Arcana tables, so the numbers below come from community guides that match each other. Community Community

Each enhancement level adds one more item level. A higher grade beats a higher plus: a fresh gold card already outweighs a fully enhanced blue one.

Primal Vigor (all Vigor cards)

2 pieces: +60 PvE Attack while HP is at 70% or more. 4 pieces: +150.

Magic Armor (all Magic cards)

2 pieces: 1,500 MP back when MP drops to 20% (30 s cooldown). 4 pieces: +1,000 PvE Defense while MP is at 50% or more.

Damage dealers: four Vigor cards and a Magic Bell (Destruction).
Tanks: four Magic cards and a Vigor Bell (Justice).
Healers and casters: Magic Parchment and Magic Mirror first.
Every role: keep the Chalice whose skill rolls match your rotation. Per-class picks: Aion 2 builds.

Where do gold Arcana drop in Aion 2?

In the Transcendence dungeons Shattered Arkanis and Deus Research Base: Unique (gold) cards start at stage 3, which needs 2,200 item level. The gold Chalice only drops at stage 4, at 2,500.

How many Arcana slots are there in Aion 2?

Five on global: Chalice, Parchment, Compass, Bell and Mirror. Each slot takes either its Vigor or its Magic card.

What does “5 Gold Arcana” mean on an account?

All five slots hold a Unique card. Each one adds 80 item level, up to 85 at +5, so five of them are worth 400 to 425 item level and weeks of stage 3 and 4 clears.

What level do you need for Arcana?

Level 45, the global cap. Transcendence itself also needs level 45 and 1,600 item level for stage 1.

Should I mix Vigor and Magic Arcana?

Usually four of one family for the 4-piece set and the fifth card from the other family for its stat: damage dealers run four Vigor plus a Magic Bell, tanks four Magic plus a Vigor Bell.
