Patch 26.20
Released on 7 October 2026, the Worlds 2026 patch. Riot ships a patch about every two weeks; 26.21 is scheduled for 21 October 2026.

2026 Season 3: Classic
2026 has three seasons: For Demacia (from 8 January 2026), Pandemonium (from 29 April 2026), Classic (from 29 July 2026). Each season has its own Victorious skin for 15 ranked wins and Honor 3 or higher.

That is what the game files of patch 26.20 contain. 423 skins are flagged Legacy (sold only now and then), and a small set was only ever given out at events or with early editions.

Vanguard is required
League on PC needs Riot Vanguard, Riot’s anti-cheat, running whenever the client is open. Turning it off or uninstalling it blocks play. It runs on your computer, not on the account.

Regions an account can be on
An account is created for one region and cannot log in to another region’s client. Riot sells a one-way transfer for 2,600 RP in the client store where the route exists; level, champions, skins and RP move with it, current rank does not. Riot Riot

Ranked Solo/Duo and Flex need summoner level 30, at least 20 owned champions and 10 full Normal games on Summoner’s Rift. New accounts play placement games first. Community

Which League of Legends server should my account be on?
The one you will play on. An account belongs to one region and cannot log in to another region’s client. Riot sells a one-way transfer for 2,600 RP where it is available, but rank does not carry over, Korea does not transfer at all, and RU, BR, TR, VN and TW may be unable to transfer to most servers.
What are the ranks in League of Legends?
Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald and Diamond, each with four divisions (IV to I), then Master, Grandmaster and Challenger. Ranked queues need level 30, at least 20 owned champions and 10 full Normal games.
What is the rarest skin in League of Legends?
The rarest are skins Riot gave out once and never sold: PAX Twisted Fate (PAX 2009), PAX Jax and PAX Sivir, King Rammus (2009 closed beta), Black Alistar, Silver Kayle and Young Ryze (2009 Collector’s Editions) and Riot event skins such as Riot K-9 Nasus. Riot has said Collector’s Edition skins are not planned to return.
What is the current League of Legends season?
Season 3 of 2026, "Classic", which started with patch 26.15 on 29 July 2026. The latest patch on 18 October 2026 is 26.20, released on 7 October 2026.
Is buying a League of Legends account allowed?
No. Riot’s Terms of Service say you can’t sell, transfer or let anyone else access your account, or offer to do so, and Riot may act against accounts that break the terms. METAMMO accounts are checked by hand and carry a lifetime warranty against recovery by a previous owner; bans and penalties from Riot are not covered.
