The rarest League of Legends skins

Most skins can be bought or come back. A few were handed out once, at a convention, with an early edition or as a season reward, and never sold again. Those are the skins that lift an account’s price. Here is each one, how it was given out, and what can still be earned.

Unobtainable

Event and early-edition skins

Riot wrote in October 2024 that Limited and Collector’s Edition skins are not planned to return, even as the Mythic Shop brings back other old content. Riot

Ranked rewards

Every Victorious skin

One Victorious skin per ranked season (per split in 2023 and 2024). Until 2024 it needed Gold or higher; since 2025 it needs 15 ranked wins in the season and Honor 3 or higher, and your peak rank decides the chromas. A past season’s skin cannot be earned again, so an old account with early Victorious skins proves it played ranked in those years. Community Riot

Transcendent

Hall of Legends: Risen and Immortalized

Riot’s Hall of Legends honours one pro player a year with a Transcendent skin that has two stages. The game files list three, each with a Risen Legend stage and an Immortalized Legend stage on top. These are the skins behind our highest League sales. Data

Worlds

World Championship skins

Riot releases one skin a year for the World Championship. Older listings call them Championship skins (Championship Riven, Championship Thresh); the game files now name them “Worlds <year> <champion>”, from Worlds 2012 Riven to Worlds 2024 Viego. Team skins for each year’s winners are a separate line. Data

Prestige and Legacy

Valuable, but they come back

The game files list 115 Prestige skins and flag 423 skins as Legacy. New Prestige skins come with event passes; older ones return for Mythic Essence in the Mythic Shop, and Legacy skins go on sale now and then. A long list of them shows a well-collected account, not an unobtainable one.

Check before you pay

A rare skin is only worth paying for if it is on the account. Ask for a screen recording of the Collection tab filtered to the skin, with the account name visible, and see the buying guide for everything else to check. What these skins do to a price is on our account prices.

Answers

Rare skins FAQ

Can you still get PAX Twisted Fate?

No. It was a code given away at PAX 2009 and has never been sold in the store. The only accounts that have it are accounts that redeemed that code.

How do you get a Victorious skin now?

Win 15 ranked games in the season (Solo/Duo and Flex wins count together) and finish with Honor 3 or higher. Your peak rank decides the chromas. Before 2025 the skin needed Gold or higher. Each past Victorious skin was only given in its own season.

What is the difference between Risen Legend and Immortalized Legend Ahri?

They are two stages of one Transcendent skin from Faker’s 2024 Hall of Legends. Risen Legend Ahri came in the 5,430 RP collection; the Immortalized stage needed the 32,430 RP collection, and the Signature version (Faker’s emote, signature splash and finisher) the 59,260 RP collection.

Are Prestige skins rare?

Less than they look. The game files list 115 Prestige skins. New ones come with event passes, and older ones come back for Mythic Essence in the Mythic Shop, so most can be earned again later. They add value, but they are not unobtainable.

What are Exalted skins?

A rarity tier of their own, drawn in the Sanctum with Ancient Sparks at 400 RP each. Riot gives a 0.5% base rate and guarantees the Exalted skin within 80 sparks, about 32,000 RP. There are five in the game files, from Arcane Fractured Jinx to Radiant Serpent Sett.
