Aion 2 server transfer

One free move per account, inside your region and faction. NC’s rules for the first window, what travels with a character and what stays on the old server, from NC’s own transfer notices. NC NC

Dates and cost

The first window

Advance Access servers14 to 21 October 2026Only to other Advance Access servers.
Launch servers21 to 28 October 2026Ends with the maintenance on 27 October (PDT) / 28 October (CET).
Cost0 QunaPlus 1,000 Quna for each character slot missing on the destination.

Each server has a cap on transfers in and out, refreshed every hour; a server that gets too many requests can be closed for the rest of the window. NCNC has not announced a second window or whether it will be free.

Requirements

Before the button turns on

  • Character level 10 or higher, standing in a village (not in the Abyss, a Spacetime Rift or a dungeon).
  • Not in a Legion and no pending Legion application; no active Duty mission.
  • Nothing listed on the Market and no unclaimed sales or proceeds.
  • Shop Storage claimed (Founder’s Pack included) and no unread mail on the character.
  • Destination in the same region and on the same faction. Advance Access servers could only move to other Advance Access servers.

Apply in game under Shop, Server Transfer. NC shifted some Europe and Asia hours on maintenance days (21 and 28 October).

Items and currency

What moves and what stays

Moves with the character

Kina in the inventory (Cube) and in Character Storage, Character Storage items and its extra slots, Friends and Blocked lists.

Joins the destination

Quna and Mileage are added to what the account already has there; active Membership days are combined with the destination’s and removed from the old server.

Stays behind

Everything in Server Storage, Kina included. Expanded character slots stay on the old server too.

Reset

The name becomes @TemporaryName; you pick a new one at first login and cannot reuse a name taken on the destination.

The one trap is Server Storage: it feels like a shared bank, but it is the part that never moves. Empty it into Character Storage on the character you take before you confirm.

Accounts

Transfers and a bought account

  • The rules are per account: if the account’s transfer for this window was already used, there is no second one.
  • A listing made before 21 October may name a server the character has since left. Ask for a current screenshot of the character select screen.
  • Region and faction never change, so they matter more than the server name. All servers by region: Aion 2 server list.

Aion 2 server transfer FAQ

Is the Aion 2 server transfer free?

In the first window, yes: 0 Quna base cost and 0 Quna per character. You pay only for missing character slots on the destination, 1,000 Quna per slot.

When is the Aion 2 server transfer?

Advance Access servers from 14 to 21 October 2026, launch servers from 21 October until the maintenance on 28 October (CET). NC has not announced a later window or its price.

Can I change faction or region with a server transfer?

No. Transfers stay inside the same region and the same faction.

How many characters can I move?

Any number in one request, from one server to one other server. The limit is one transfer per account for the whole window, so move every character you need at once.

Why is server transfer unavailable for my server?

Outside your region’s daily hours, or because the departure or destination server reached its transfer cap. NC refreshes the caps every hour and can close a server that gets too many requests.

Does my membership move with my character?

Yes. Active Membership days are combined with the destination server’s and removed from the old one.
