Solo Leveling KARMA Release Date, Platforms and Pre-Registration

October 9, 2026·METAMMO Team

Solo Leveling: KARMA has no exact release date yet. Netmarble says it launches in 2026 on PC, iOS and Android, Korea and Japan get it first, and as of 9 October 2026 the team says the schedule is "under final adjustment." The App Store's 31 December 2026 date is a placeholder, not an announcement.

KARMA was first announced in July 2025 and got its biggest showing at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (Makuhari Messe, from 17 September), where Netmarble ran a media presentation and a playable demo. Here is everything confirmed so far, and what is still missing.

Why there is still no date

Netmarble's Q4 and full-year 2025 earnings report placed KARMA in the second half of 2026. At TGS 2026, development head Jin Seong-gun and business division head Lee Jong-hyuk said "the specific schedule for the official release is under final adjustment" and that it will be announced "as soon as it is confirmed."

They also said the game is in the final stages of preparation for global release, with current work focused on mobile optimization so that combat and Shadow summoning effects run smoothly on phones. That points to performance polish, not missing content.

The useful signal is not the App Store date but the pre-registration map. Netmarble opened sign-ups only in Korea and Japan and confirmed those markets launch first. Players outside Asia will not get the game on the Asian launch day either way, so the first global pre-registration page is the real countdown for everyone else.

What Solo Leveling: KARMA is

KARMA is a roguelite action RPG viewed from a quarter (isometric) camera. You fight through runs, pick up buffs, and build a different loadout each time. It is a standalone game with its own progression.

Story: the 27-year Monarch War

The story covers the 27 years Sung Jinwoo spends fighting the Monarchs after he uses the Cup of Reincarnation to return to the past. The original web novel and manhwa reference this war but never show it. Netmarble calls it an untold storyline, and series creator Chugong is credited with overseeing the canon.

The TGS cinematic trailer shows corrupted versions of familiar hunters as enemies, including Cha Hae-In, Go Gun-hee and Choi Jong-in, and asks who is controlling them.

Gameplay systems shown at TGS 2026

  • Shadow Army as playable characters. Shadows are not just summons; you can control them directly. Jin Seong-gun called this the game's main point of difference.
  • 200+ buffs to combine during runs.
  • 8 playable characters in the TGS build, with hunters and Shadows playing differently.
  • Weapon swapping between daggers, scythes and bows, which changes the style of a run rather than only the damage numbers.
  • Two modes: Story Mode and Survival Mode.

Voice cast

The English dub brings back Aleks Le as Sung Jinwoo, the voice from the anime's English dub. Troy Baker voices Antares, the Monarch of Destruction.

How KARMA relates to Solo Leveling: Arise

They are two separate games from the same publisher. Neither replaces the other, and nothing announced so far links accounts or progress between them.
