Short answer: buy a Call of Duty: Mobile account only together with the login its progress is tied to (the social account it was created with) and any linked Activision account, because Activision says progress stays with the original login and does not carry over to another one. A direct store such as METAMMO sells to you itself, checks every account by hand and covers it for life against recovery by a previous owner; escrow marketplaces such as G2G, Eldorado and PlayerAuctions host many sellers and cover you for days or weeks. Activision's Terms of Use forbid buying and selling accounts, so no seller can promise the account will never be banned.
Marketplace terms below come from each platform's own help pages, checked 6 October 2026. Call of Duty: Mobile facts come from Activision's own terms and support pages. This guide was updated on 20 October 2026.
Store or marketplace: what is the difference?
On a marketplace you buy from one of many sellers. The platform does not own or check the account; it holds the payment, takes a fee and settles disputes within its cover period. Quality depends on the seller you happen to pick, and the same account is often listed by several resellers at once.
With a direct store there is one seller: the store. It sources the account, checks it by hand and answers for it after the sale. What you give up is third-party escrow, so look at the store's public record before you pay. METAMMO's record is public on G2G, Eldorado and GameBoost.
Why the original login decides who keeps the account
Activision's account help says your progress is tied to the original account you used, and that progress will not carry over to another Facebook account if you change logins. To restore progress after reinstalling, you log in with the same account. So the social login the account was created with is the account. A seller who hands over the game but keeps that login, or its email, keeps the account.
The game can also be linked to a Call of Duty account. If it is, the linked Activision account and its email are part of what you need. Activision's hacked account recovery asks for the email last used on the Activision account and works through platform accounts that were originally linked, which again favours whoever created the account.
Region matters too: Activision cannot adjust the region an account was originally registered in. Garena runs its own version of the game in Southeast Asia, and China has its own version, so buy the version and region you play.
What Activision's rules say
Activision's Terms of Use say Activision does not recognise the transfer of accounts, and you may not purchase, sell, gift, trade or otherwise transfer any account; any such attempt is void. Its account security page repeats that transferring or selling accounts violates the terms. The CODM enforcement policy also punishes boosting with suspensions, stat resets and, for repeat offences, permanent suspension. No seller can remove that risk.

Platform-wide account terms from each platform's own help pages, checked 6 October 2026; they apply to any Call of Duty: Mobile account bought there. Other sites such as Z2U, EpicNPC and FunPay also carry game account listings; we have not compared their terms here. Dispute handling and seller checks are compared in our marketplace comparison.
Every marketplace above holds your payment until delivery, which protects you against a seller who never hands over the login. Their cover then runs for a fixed period, while a recovery by a previous owner can come months later. That gap is why the length of cover matters as much as having cover at all.
What to check before paying
- The original login. Which social account the game was created with, handed over with its email and password.
- A linked Activision account. If there is one, it comes with the sale with its email.
- Not a guest account. A guest account has no login to hand over.
- The version and region. Global, Garena or the Chinese version, and the registered region, which support cannot change.
- Mythic and legendary items in game. A screen recording of the profile with the UID, the armory and the character list.
- No boosting history. A rank pushed by boosting can be reset by Activision.
Red flags
- A seller who will not hand over the social login the account was created with.
- A guest account, or a "linked later" login that is not the original.
- An account on a region or version you cannot play.
- A request to pay outside the marketplace to save fees.
- A promise that the account cannot be banned.
How METAMMO handles Call of Duty: Mobile accounts
METAMMO is a store, not a marketplace: you buy every account from METAMMO, not from an individual seller, and each one is checked by hand: the login, linked accounts, region and the mythic and legendary items match the listing. So the deal and the recovery risk are ours. Our warranty is lifetime and covers one thing: if a previous owner ever takes the account back, you get a replacement of equal value or a full refund, your choice. Bans by Activision are not covered, because no seller controls them.
We have sold game accounts for years and know how Activision's rules and bans work, so we tell you what to avoid. Delivery is usually within minutes to a few hours, at most 24, with help moving the email and logins to yours. If the account you want is not listed, tell us the mythic weapons or characters you want and we look for one.
