Last War Transfer Surge Explained: Seats, Tickets and THP

October 10, 2026·METAMMO Team

Transfer Surge is the once per season window in Last War: Survival when you can move your account to another server in your server group, at a cost of 50 Transfer Tickets. Your seat color, and so which servers will take you, depends on your account's power, which is why the event matters to anyone buying an account for a specific server.

How the event works

Last War: Survival, released in August 2023 and published by FUNFLY, splits players across many servers that play through seasons together. A season main phase runs 8 weeks; Season 6, Shadow Rainforest, followed that pattern. Transfer Surge opens near the end of each season so players can regroup before the next one.

You cannot pick any server in the game. The event assigns you to a transfer group of servers at a similar stage, and you choose a destination inside it. Guides list four conditions you must meet when you apply:

  • You are not in any alliance.
  • You are not the President of the warzone.
  • You are not in cross warzone status.
  • All of your squads are back in your base.

Transfer Tickets

Every move costs exactly 50 Transfer Tickets. The alliance store sells 3 per week for alliance currency, and more come through in game purchase bundles. At the free rate alone, saving 50 tickets takes about 17 weeks, which is roughly one full season cycle.

That is why sellers put the ticket count in account titles. An account that already holds 50 tickets can move in the next window without any extra spending.

Seat colors and power

Seats are sorted by a transfer score built from your highest historical power, top heroes, squads and special units. Lower power players get White or Blue seats, higher power players get Purple or Gold.

CPT Hedge gives rough Season 6 thresholds in Total Hero Power (THP). Last War Handbook warns that the cutoffs vary by server cluster and that the color names are community labels, not official ones, so treat these as a guide only.

SeatRough Season 6 THPWho gets it
WhiteBelow BlueLowest power tier
BlueAbout 190M and upLower middle tier
PurpleAbout 270M and upUpper middle tier
GoldAbout 315M and upHighest power tier

Why THP decides the seat

THP adds up the power of an account's 16 strongest heroes. It is not the same as first squad power: one player can spread resources over many heroes while another stacks one formation. For transfer purposes, the broad THP figure is the number to watch.

Open and limited servers

Each destination server has a standard. Strong servers are limited open with fewer seats, while weaker servers are fully open with more and stronger slots. CPT Hedge gives one example of a limited open server with 40 White, 30 Blue, 3 Purple and 0 Gold seats.

The stronger the account, the harder it is to move. A 320M THP account needs a Gold seat, and a limited open server like the example above has none, so a whale can find most strong servers closed while a mid account still has dozens of White and Blue seats to choose from.

Server groups also expand over time, from about 64 servers after Season 2 to 128 after Season 4. A larger group means more destinations, but the seat limits still apply.

What this means when you buy an account

If you want to join friends or a specific alliance, the server is part of what you are buying. Use this checklist:

  1. Server number and group. Confirm the exact server and the range it belongs to, such as 1061 to 1188.
  2. Transfer Tickets. Check whether the account holds 50 or more.
  3. THP and first squad power. THP points to the seat color; squad power shows real fighting strength.
  4. Season stage. Note how many weeks remain until week 8, when the next window opens.
  5. Alliance role. A leader or President account must step down and leave before it can move.

Frequently asked questions

How often is Transfer Surge in Last War?

Once per season, from Season 2 onward. It runs for 14 days across week 8 of the season and week 1 of the off-season. There is no second window before the next season.

How many tickets do I need to transfer?

Exactly 50 Transfer Tickets. You can get 3 free each week from the alliance store, and more through in game bundles.

Can I move to any server I want?

No. You can only move to servers inside your transfer group, and only if the destination still has a seat of your color open.

What decides my seat color?

Your transfer score, built from highest historical power, top heroes, squads and special units. Higher scores get Purple or Gold, lower scores get White or Blue.

Can I transfer while in an alliance?

No. You must leave your alliance, not be the warzone President, not be in cross warzone status, and have all squads at home.

When does Season 7 start?

Community trackers expected Season 7 around August 2026, but as of mid July 2026 no official announcement had been indexed, so the timing is unconfirmed and may differ by server group.
