Modes
One vehicle, three battle ratings
Battle rating differs by mode: Arcade (AB), Realistic (RB) and Simulator (SB). For example, the F-14A IRIAF is 13.0 in Arcade and 13.7 in Realistic Battles. A battle rating in a listing title rarely names the mode, so check which one the seller means.
How vehicles are obtained
Research, premium, events and squadrons
Researched in a nation’s tree with research points earned in battle, then bought with Silver Lions, the in-game currency.
e.g. Object 279, T-80U, T-90M
Premium vehicles sold in packs in the Gaijin Store.
e.g. Ho-Ri Prototype, Somua SM, Ka-50
Unlocked through a squadron (the game’s clans) rather than the regular tree.
e.g. Leopard 2PL
Rewards of time-limited events; their wiki pages name the event.
e.g. Object 292, F-14A IRIAF, Tu-95M
Packs are sold in the Gaijin Store.
