Buying a ZZZ account: what to check

A Zenless Zone Zero account is yours once its HoYoverse email, password and linked logins are yours. What sets the price, the checks in the order they matter, and the red flags.

What makes a ZZZ account valuable

Accounts are priced on limited S-Rank agents and their signature W-Engines. Inter-Knot Level tells you how much is unlocked; the limited agents tell you what the account is worth. On the Exclusive Channel an S-Rank is guaranteed within 90 searches, with a 50 percent chance of the featured agent and a guarantee after a loss. The W-Engine Channel guarantees an S-Rank within 80 draws, 75 percent featured. Community

Current meta agents	Recent limited agents such as Remielle, Ye Shunguang, Claret or Roxy.	New strong agents sell first. Each new version shifts value away from older ones.

The roster keeps moving. Roxy’s banner was scheduled to run to 20 October; Community Version 3.3, Journey to the Sky, was scheduled for 21 October with Phoenix, an S-Rank Fire Anomaly agent, and a Velina rerun, followed by Severian, an S-Rank Wind Attack agent, with a Norma rerun. Logging in during 3.3 gives 10 Encrypted Master Tapes. Community

Which names lift the price right now? Community tier lists for Version 3.2 put Remielle, Ye Shunguang, Yixuan, Miyabi and Claret at the top among damage dealers, Dialyn, Norma, Nangong Yu and Trigger among stun agents, and Astra Yao, Yuzuha, Sunna and Lucia among supports, all rated at M0. Community Accounts built on older limited agents alone, without any 3.x agent, tend to sell slower. A top agent today is a good sign, not a permanent one: each version adds new limited S-Ranks.

Account types

Starter, mid, endgame or whale

Every limited agent on an account can represent up to 180 searches if the 50/50 was lost, and every duplicate the same again. That is why a long roster with signatures carries most of the price, while Inter-Knot Level comes last. Community

Starter

A low-level account, often Inter-Knot 10 to 13, with one or two picked limited agents and their signatures, plus saved Polychrome.

Suits: New players who want a specific agent and the story still ahead of them.

Mid account

Ten to nineteen limited S-Ranks, a top damage dealer at M1 or M2 with the signature, and Inter-Knot in the 50s.

Suits: Players who want several working teams for endgame modes without a whale price.

Endgame account

Twenty or more limited S-Ranks, many signatures and Inter-Knot close to 60.

Suits: Players who want to pick any team for the hardest content.

Whale account

Most or all limited agents, several at M6 with signatures. The value is in the duplicates.

Suits: Collectors. Check every M number and W-Engine on screen.

How to read a ZZZ listing title

In a title	Meaning
20 Limited	Number of limited S-Rank agents from Exclusive Channel banners.
M0 to M6	Mindscape Cinema level: each duplicate of an agent adds one level.
W1, + sig, + Sign	One copy of a W-Engine, usually the agent’s own signature W-Engine.
S-Rank, A-Rank	Rarity of agents and W-Engines. Limited S-Ranks drive the price.
IK 56	Inter-Knot Level, the account level, out of 60.
Polychrome, Master Tapes	Premium currency and pull tickets saved for future banners.
EU, NA, Asia, TW/HK/MO	The server. Fixed for life.
All unset	No phone number or social login attached, only the email.

Take “EU | 15 Limited | Ye Shunguang M2 + Sign | Miyabi, Yixuan + Sign | IK 56”. That is a Europe account with 15 limited S-Rank agents; Ye Shunguang has two duplicates and her signature W-Engine, Miyabi is included, Yixuan has her signature, and the account is at Inter-Knot 56 of 60. Confirm each claim on screen before paying.

How to buy a Zenless Zone Zero account safely

Pick the server first
Choose the server you will play on and where your friends are. Progress never moves between servers, and the PS5 version cannot reach TW, HK, MO.

Read the title the way sellers write it
“20 Limited” counts limited S-Rank agents; “M2” is a Mindscape level; “+ Sign” or “W1” means the signature W-Engine is included; “IK60” is Inter-Knot Level; “Polychrome” and “Master Tapes” are unspent pulls. Starters are low-level accounts with one or two picked agents.

Ask for proof from the game itself
Screenshots or a short video of the server, the profile with Inter-Knot Level and UID, the agent list, each Mindscape screen and the W-Engine inventory. The UID should match on every image.

Check Signal Search history
The search history shows the pulls behind the roster and where pity stands. It is harder to fake than a roster screenshot.

Ask what is linked
A HoYoverse account can carry an email, a phone number and social logins such as Google, Apple, Facebook or X, plus PlayStation or Steam links. “All unset” means nothing but the email is attached. Ask whether you get the email itself.

Pay with buyer protection
Use a seller and a payment method that refund you if the account is not delivered as described. Keep the listing text and screenshots until the account is fully yours.

Check the account in game
Log in on the right server and confirm the agents, Mindscapes, W-Engines and currency the title promised before you confirm the order.

Change everything on day one
Change the password, move the account to your own email in the HoYoverse account centre, and remove any phone or social login you did not add. This is what stops a previous owner coming back.

Which server is the account on, and does the UID match on every screenshot?
Will I get the current email so I can approve the change to my own?
Is a phone number, Google, Apple, Facebook, X, PlayStation or Steam login attached?
Can you show the Mindscape screen for each M number and the W-Engine inventory?

Servers

The server is the one thing you cannot change

ZZZ has four servers: America, Europe, Asia, TW, HK, MO. Progress never moves between them, and you play with friends and events on that server’s schedule. A Europe account is no use to a player whose friends are on America.

America

Listed as NA or America.

Europe

Listed as EU. The biggest share of buyers.

Asia

Listed as Asia.

TW, HK, MO

Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Not available on the PS5 version.

Warning signs

Red flags and common scams

The seller will not let you move the account to your own email, or wants to keep a phone number or social login attached.
A PlayStation or Steam link the seller keeps. Any linked login is a way back into the account.
Screenshots without a server or UID, or a UID that changes between images.
“M6” or “+ sig” in the title with no Mindscape screen or W-Engine inventory to back it.
Instant automatic delivery of a fresh starter at a very low price. These are usually mass-made reroll accounts, and the email often stays with the seller.
A TW, HK, MO account offered to a PlayStation 5 player. The PS5 version cannot connect to that server.
Pressure to pay outside the order, by a method you cannot dispute, or a request for your verification codes.
Very cheap accounts in general. In our own sales, accounts under $200 come back on recovery claims about twice as often as accounts at $400 to $700.

After you buy

Securing the account

Your agents live on the HoYoverse account, and the same account can hold other HoYoverse games too. Take it over completely in the first hour.

Move the email

In the HoYoverse account centre, open Account Security Settings and Modify Link. You confirm with a code sent to the current email, then with a code sent to the new one.

Change the password

Set a new password once the email is yours, so a reset can only reach you.

Remove the phone and social logins

Unlink any phone number, Facebook or X you did not add on the account website; Google and Apple links are managed from inside the game.

Check platform links

A Steam link can only be removed when the HoYoverse account has an email linked. Ask the seller to remove a PlayStation link before you confirm, because a link left behind is a way back in.

Keep it to yourself

Do not share the login with friends or account services. A recovery caused by shared details or phishing is outside any seller’s warranty.

Is it safe to buy a Zenless Zone Zero account?

The practical risk is the previous owner recovering it. Move the account to your own email, change the password and remove every phone and social login on day one, and buy where a warranty covers recovery.

Can I move a ZZZ account to another server?

No. Each server keeps its own progress; one HoYoverse account can play on all four, but agents and currency never transfer between them.

Can I change the email on a ZZZ account?

Yes. In the HoYoverse account centre, Account Security Settings, Modify Link: confirm with a code sent to the current email, then with a code sent to your new one. This is why you need the current mailbox at handover.

What does “all unset” mean on a ZZZ account?

That no phone number or social login is attached to the HoYoverse account, only the email, which you then change to your own.

Does a ZZZ account work on PC, mobile, PS5 and Steam?

Progress follows the HoYoverse account across platforms on the same server. The PS5 version connects only to Europe, America and Asia, and the Steam version links to an existing HoYoverse account on first launch.
