Before you buy an ARC Raiders account

Six things to check, from the platform the Embark ID is locked to, to the cosmetics that can never be added later, taken from Embark’s own support pages.

Checklist

What to check

  1. 1

Buy on the platform you play

The first platform linked to an Embark ID is permanent and only Embark support can remove it. Relinking a platform account to another Embark ID does not move cosmetics. A PlayStation account stays a PlayStation account.

Managing your Embark ID (Embark ID support)

  2. 2

Get the Embark ID and the platform login

Progress and cosmetics live on the Embark ID; the game licence lives on the Steam, Epic, PlayStation or Xbox account. You need both, with their emails, so you can change the passwords.

Managing your Embark ID (Embark ID support)

  3. 3

The game must be owned, not shared

If a shared licence (Steam Family Sharing or Xbox home console) is used by someone who gets banned, the licence is blocked on that platform for everyone sharing it, even if they own the game there.

Shared license restrictions (Embark ID support)

  4. 4

Verify the rare cosmetics in game

Ask for the outfit screen. The G-Suit came only with the Deluxe pre-order and the Server Slammer backpack only from the October 2025 open test, so they cannot be added later.

Pre-order bonuses and edition contents (Embark ID support) · Server Slam info and reward (Embark)

  5. 5

Check what survives the next Expedition

Level, stash upgrades, blueprints and workshop reset in an Expedition; cosmetics, currencies and bonus skill points stay. Expeditions are paused until early 2027.

Expedition (ARC Raiders Wiki) (community) · Expeditions paused until 2027 (eXputer) (community)

  6. 6

Ask about duping and ban history

Embark bans for exploits, including item duplication, and since September 2026 an account ever associated with a banned copy of the game also gets a permanent ban. A huge stash of identical rare items is worth a question.

Red flags

When to walk away

  • A G-Suit or Server Slam claim with no in-game outfit screenshot.
  • A game licence borrowed through Family Sharing or a home console.
  • An Embark ID whose first linked platform is not the one you play on.
  • Stash value far above normal play, especially stacks of identical rare items.
  • A seller who offers only the Embark ID or only the platform login.

How we verify and what we promise

Every ARC Raiders account we list is checked by hand: we sign in, compare level, stash, blueprints, workbenches and outfits with the title, and note which platform the Embark ID is tied to. Delivery is in a private support chat, with help changing the emails and passwords.

Our warranty is lifetime and covers one thing: recovery by a previous owner. If that happens, you get a replacement or a refund. It does not cover bans by Embark. Full terms: warranty.

What Embark’s rules say

Embark’s ban and enforcement policy prohibits account sharing and selling, account boosting or farming, trading in-game items for anything of value and exploiting bugs. Penalties go from temporary to permanent bans; hardware bans are final, serious cases can apply to all Embark titles, and Embark does not disclose the cause. It also says players are responsible for their account’s security and activity. We say this plainly because it is the one risk no seller can remove.

Answers

Buying an ARC Raiders account: FAQ

Is buying an ARC Raiders account allowed?

No. Embark’s ban and enforcement policy lists account sharing and selling, account boosting and real-money trading as violations, with temporary or permanent bans, hardware bans and, for serious cases, bans across Embark titles. Any bought account carries that risk.

Can I move an ARC Raiders account to another platform?

Progress follows the Embark ID with cross-progression, but the first platform linked to it is permanent, and real-money purchases stay on the platform they were made on.

Will I lose a bought account’s items in the next wipe?

Only if you start an Expedition, which is voluntary. Frozen Trail (October 2026) did not wipe characters. Cosmetics, currencies and bonus skill points are kept even through an Expedition.

How does METAMMO check an ARC Raiders account?

By hand before listing: we sign in, compare level, stash, blueprints, workbenches and cosmetics with the title, and check the platform the Embark ID is tied to. Delivery includes help changing the emails and passwords.

What does the METAMMO warranty cover?

If a previous owner ever recovers the account, the original buyer gets a replacement or a refund, for the life of the account. It does not cover bans by Embark, or losses from sharing your login.
