Classes FAQ
How many classes are in Black Desert?
Thirty-two. The newest is the Agent, released on 30 July 2026 (6 August on console).
Which Black Desert classes have no Succession?
Archer, Scholar, Deadeye, Wukong and Seraph are Ascension-type classes without a Succession path; Shai has a Talent path instead.
Does the class change an account’s price?
Less than Gear Score does. Accounts are sold for their main character’s gear first; many listings also name several other characters at high level, which widens the choice of classes on one account.
