How to read the build side of a Division 2 account listing — the kinds of gear, the sets sellers name, and what changed in the current season.
Gear sets
Named sets with bonuses at 2, 3 and 4 pieces; the 4-piece talent defines a build.
Brand sets
Manufacturer sets with smaller bonuses at 1–3 pieces; Red Horizon reworked most 2- and 3-piece bonuses.
Exotics
One exotic armour piece and one exotic weapon at a time, each with a unique talent.
Prototype
Year 8 quality above High-End with Augments; “Prototype builds” in a listing means the key pieces are Prototype.

Red Horizon added the Ember Engine set, buffed the talents of several damage sets (including Aces & Eights, Breaking Point, True Patriot, Ongoing Directive, Negotiator’s Dilemma, Tipping Scales, Hotshot, Ortiz: Exuro and Concentrated Company) and reworked most brand-set 2- and 3-piece bonuses.
What does “Prototype Striker” mean on a Division 2 account?
Prototype-quality pieces of the Striker’s Battlegear gear set. Prototype is the Year 8 rarity above High-End; in the current market, listings with Prototype builds ask noticeably more than comparable accounts without them.
