Buying a Division 2 account

A Division 2 account is worth its SHD level and exotics only if you control its Ubisoft email. What to check before paying, and what Ubisoft’s Terms mean for a buyer.

Checklist

Seven things to check

  1. 1

The Ubisoft account and its email

The Division 2 lives on a Ubisoft account. You should end up controlling the account’s email and password; without the email, the previous owner can reset the password and take it back.

  2. 2

    2-step verification moved to you

If 2-step verification is on, it must be moved to your phone or authenticator, or the seller can still approve logins.

Ubisoft account security and two-step verification (Ubisoft Help)

  3. 3

    The platform

A PC account and a console account are different products: check which platform the progress is on, and for console which network account is linked. Crossplay arrives in November 2026; Ubisoft has not announced moving progress between platforms.

The Division 2 at Gamescom: Crossplay, Echoes of Central Park and Red Horizon (Ubisoft)

  4. 4

SHD level and Expertise, from the game

Ask for screenshots of the SHD level and the Expertise level from the game itself, not just the numbers in a title.

  5. 5

    The exotics that matter

Raid and incursion exotics (Eagle Bearer, The Ravenous, Regulus, Ouroboros, Steel & Sons) take the most time to farm; ask for the inventory or stash showing them.

  6. 6

    Prototype builds and Exotic Components

Prototype gear and a stock of Exotic Components are what separate a played account from a finished one; check both in game.

  7. 7

    Ubisoft’s Terms

Ubisoft’s Terms of Use forbid buying, selling, sharing or transferring accounts and allow suspension or closure. No seller can remove that risk; a warranty can only cover the previous owner taking the account back.

What our warranty covers

Every METAMMO account is checked by hand before listing and carries a lifetime warranty against recovery: if a previous owner ever takes the account back, the original buyer gets a replacement or a refund. Bans are not covered — trading accounts is against Ubisoft’s Terms and no seller controls that.

Buying FAQ

Is it safe to buy a Division 2 account?

It carries two risks. The previous owner can recover the account if they still control its email, and Ubisoft’s Terms forbid buying and selling accounts, which can lead to suspension. Full access including the email and 2-step verification removes most of the first risk; nothing removes the second. METAMMO accounts carry a lifetime warranty against recovery by a previous owner — refund or replacement for the original buyer; bans are not covered.

What should a Division 2 account cost?

In public listings over the last 90 days, the median asking price was $350 at 1,000–4,999 SHD, $400 at 5,000–14,999 and $568 at 15,000+. The market is small, so these are indicative.

Should I buy a PC or a console Division 2 account?

The one for the platform you play on: progress lives on the platform the account was played on. Crossplay from November 2026 lets you play with other platforms; Ubisoft has not announced moving progress between them.
