Where to Buy a Division 2 Account Safely in 2026: Store vs Marketplaces, Ubisoft Account and What to Check

·METAMMO Team

Short answer: buy a Division 2 account only with control of its Ubisoft account email and with 2-step verification moved to you, because without them the previous owner can reset the password and take it back. A direct store such as METAMMO sells to you itself, checks every account by hand and covers it for life against recovery by a previous owner; escrow marketplaces such as G2G, Eldorado and PlayerAuctions host many sellers and cover you for days or weeks. Buy on the platform you play: progress lives on the platform the account was played on.

Marketplace terms below come from each platform's own help pages, checked 6 October 2026. Division 2 facts come from Ubisoft's own help pages, news and terms. This guide was updated on 20 October 2026.

Store or marketplace: what is the difference?

On a marketplace you buy from one of many sellers. The platform does not own or check the account; it holds the payment, takes a fee and settles disputes within its cover period. Quality depends on the seller you happen to pick, and the same account is often listed by several resellers at once.

With a direct store there is one seller: the store. It sources the account, checks it by hand and answers for it after the sale. What you give up is third-party escrow, so look at the store's public record before you pay. METAMMO's record is public on G2G, Eldorado and GameBoost.

Why recovery is the main risk with The Division 2

The Division 2 lives on a Ubisoft account. You should end up controlling the account's email and password, and if 2-step verification is on, it must be moved to your phone or authenticator, or the seller can still approve logins. A previous owner who keeps the email can recover the account after a short warranty ends.

The publisher risk is separate. Ubisoft's Terms of Use forbid buying, selling, sharing or transferring accounts and allow suspension or closure. No seller can remove that risk; a warranty can only cover the previous owner taking the account back.

Platform-wide account terms from each platform's own help pages, checked 6 October 2026; they apply to any Division 2 account bought there. Other sites such as Z2U, EpicNPC and FunPay also carry game account listings; we have not compared their terms here. Dispute handling and seller checks are compared in our marketplace comparison.

Every marketplace above holds your payment until delivery, which protects you against a seller who never hands over the login. Their cover then runs for a fixed period, while a recovery by a previous owner can come months later. That gap is why the length of cover matters as much as having cover at all.

PC or console, and crossplay

A PC account and a console account are different products: check which platform the progress is on, and for console which network account is linked. Ubisoft announced crossplay rolling out through November 2026 and says platform migration starts after Echoes of Central Park launches on 3 November 2026. It has not yet said how progress moves, so do not count on moving a bought account between platforms.

What to check before paying

  1. The Ubisoft account and its email. Full access, so you can change both.
  2. 2-step verification moved to you. Otherwise the seller can still approve logins.
  3. The platform. And for console, the linked PlayStation or Xbox account.
  4. SHD level and Expertise from the game. Screenshots from the game itself, not only the numbers in a title.
  5. The exotics that matter. Raid and incursion exotics such as Eagle Bearer, The Ravenous, Regulus, Ouroboros and Steel and Sons take the most time to farm; ask for the inventory or stash.
  6. Prototype builds and Exotic Components. They separate a played account from a finished one; check both in game.

Red flags

  • A seller who keeps the Ubisoft email or 2-step verification.
  • A console account sold as a PC account, or the reverse.
  • SHD and exotics typed in the title with no in-game screenshots.
  • A request to pay outside the marketplace to save fees.
  • A promise that the account cannot be banned.

How METAMMO handles Division 2 accounts

METAMMO is a store, not a marketplace: you buy every account from METAMMO, not from an individual seller, and each one is checked by hand: we sign in and compare the platform, SHD level, Expertise, exotics and builds with the title. So the deal and the recovery risk are ours. Our warranty is lifetime and covers one thing: if a previous owner ever takes the account back, you get a replacement of equal value or a full refund, your choice. Bans by Ubisoft are not covered, because no seller controls them.

We have sold game accounts for years and know how Ubisoft's rules and bans work, so we tell you what to avoid. Delivery is usually within minutes to a few hours, at most 24, with help moving the email and logins to yours. If the account you want is not listed, tell us the platform, SHD level and exotics you want and we look for one.
