Is Black Knight rare in Fortnite?
Yes. Black Knight was the tier 70 reward of the Chapter 1 Season 2 Battle Pass in December 2017 and has no Item Shop appearance on record since. Only players who bought that Battle Pass and reached tier 70 have it.
How much is a Fortnite account with Black Knight worth?
It depends on what else is on the account. Today the 99 Fortnite accounts with Black Knight listed here cost from $179 to $20,009, median $2,399. Accounts that also have other OG skins or a large locker sit at the top of that range.
Is the Black Knight back bling the same as the Black Knight skin?
No. The Black Knight outfit is the Season 2 Battle Pass reward from 2017. "The Black Knight" back bling is a separate item added to the Item Shop in Chapter 6 Season 4 (October 2025) and sold several times since.
Will Black Knight come back to the Item Shop?
Epic has not brought it back since 2017, and its policy of returning Battle Pass outfits to the Item Shop applies to newer passes, not to Chapter 1. No one outside Epic can promise what happens in the future.

About Black Knight
Black Knight was the last outfit of the Chapter 1 Season 2 Battle Pass, unlocked at tier 70. The season began on 14 December 2017, and the only way to get the outfit was to buy that Battle Pass and reach tier 70 before the season ended in February 2018.
It has never been sold in the Item Shop. That is why Black Knight is the outfit most often named first in an OG Fortnite account: an account that owns it played Season 2, and no account can add it today.
Why Black Knight accounts hold their value
- No Item Shop appearance on record since its release in December 2017.
- Epic's policy of bringing Battle Pass outfits back to the Item Shop covers newer passes, not Chapter 1 Season 2.
- The account usually carries the rest of the Season 2 pass too: Blue Squire (tier 1), Royale Knight (tier 21) and Sparkle Specialist (tier 56).
- "The Black Knight" back bling, added in Chapter 6 Season 4 (October 2025), is a different item. It does not make an account a Black Knight account.
What to check on a Black Knight account
- The outfit itself in the locker, not only the newer back bling with a similar name.
- Which other Season 2 Battle Pass items are on the account: they confirm the account played that season.
- The skin count and the other rare items in the title: a Black Knight account can cost a few hundred dollars or several thousand depending on what else is in the locker.
