FAQ about Fortnite accounts with Skull Trooper
What is the purple Skull Trooper?
The Purple Glow style of Skull Trooper. Only players who bought the outfit in its first Item Shop run in October 2017 have it; later buyers get the outfit without it. It is what "OG Skull Trooper" means in a listing.
Is Skull Trooper rare in Fortnite?
The outfit is not: fortnite.gg counts 144 days in the Item Shop, the last on 10 October 2026. The Purple Glow style is rare, because only players who bought Skull Trooper in 2017 have it.
When was Skull Trooper last in the Item Shop?

About Skull Trooper
Skull Trooper was first sold in the Item Shop in October 2017, for the first Fortnitemares Halloween event, at 1,500 V-Bucks. It has come back almost every October since: fortnite.gg counts 144 days in the shop, most recently from 8 to 10 October 2026.
So owning Skull Trooper says little about an account's age. What does is the Purple Glow style, reserved for players who bought it in 2017: the "purple Skull Trooper" people search for. On these listings that version is named "OG Skull" and gets an "OG Purple Skull" badge.
OG Skull Trooper or a later purchase
- OG Skull Trooper: bought in 2017, with the Purple Glow style.
- Skull Trooper from a later return: the same outfit without the Purple Glow style.
- Dark Skully and the Skull Ranger are separate outfits and do not count as Skull Trooper.
What to check on a Skull Trooper account
- "OG Skull" in the title and the Purple Glow style in the screenshots.
- Ghoul Trooper with the Pink style, often on the same account: both were first sold in October 2017.
- The other OG skins named: they set most of the price.
You buy every account from METAMMO. We log in and check the locker and styles by hand before listing, hand the account over in a private support ticket and walk you through securing it. Every account has a lifetime warranty against recovery by a previous owner: a replacement or a full refund, your choice. Step by step: the Fortnite account buying guide.
