Summoners War: Sky Arena has run collaborations since 2020, from Street Fighter V to Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, and each one added four or five monsters that can only be summoned while the event is live. Later, Com2uS adds an original twin with the same skills and stats, so the collab name becomes the scarce part.

A few units exist in only one element. Altaïr is Light only, Sukuna is Dark only, Gyomei is Wind only, Heihachi is Fire only and Frodo and Himmel are Water only. Every other collab character comes in all five elements.
How collab monsters are obtained
During a collab, characters come from a dedicated summon pool, event scrolls and mission rewards. The Cookie Run notice set the pattern: cookies "will only be available during the collaboration, but can be used permanently afterwards." Later collabs followed the same rule.
- Event scrolls: the Jujutsu Kaisen Scroll from Trial of Ascension floor 50 summoned a default 4 or 5 star collab character of any element.
- Free units: GingerBrave (Cookie Run), Heihachi Mishima (TEKKEN 8) and a fully upgraded Water Frodo (Lord of the Rings) came from event missions.
- Milestone rewards: the Lord of the Rings event gave a default 5 star collab character for summoning points.
Collab monsters are also excluded from general giveaways. The 9 October 2026 Nat 5 Monster Summon Event, for example, lists Collab Monsters among its exclusions.
Original twins: same kit, different name
After a collab ends, Com2uS adds original Summoners War monsters that share the collab unit's skills and stats. Com2uS added Witcher originals (Magic Order Guardian, Swordsinger, Enchantress and Elementalist) in v8.3.4, and TEKKEN 8 originals in v9.0.4.

Because the kits match, RTA trackers count both names together. Our Summoners War RTA meta page shows this in Season 38 data, where "Tetsuya / Megumi" was the second most picked monster at 28.8% and "Douglas / RYU" sat at a 38.7% ban rate.
The twin system splits one monster into two kinds of value. Battle power is shared, so a Light Werner fights exactly like a Light Gojo. What the collab version adds is a name that can no longer be summoned, which is why sellers put Light Gojo or Dark Nezuko in titles instead of the twin.
Which collab monsters matter on an account
Account value in Summoners War is driven mainly by Light and Dark natural 5 stars, the LD5 count. Collab characters count toward it when they are Light or Dark natural 5 stars, such as Light Gojo, Dark Nezuko, Light Inosuke or Dark Frieren.
- Light and Dark natural 5 stars: they raise the LD5 count and are the collab names most often listed in end game account titles.
- Meta relevance: a collab kit that is picked or banned often in RTA, such as Megumi's, is useful whatever the name.
- Newest collab: Frieren units have no listed twin in SWARFARM yet, so for now the collab version is the only way to own those kits.
- Fire, Water and Wind versions: nice to have, but they rarely move an account's tier.

What to check before buying a collab account
- Collab name versus twin: a screenshot should show the collab name and art, not Werner where the title says Gojo.
- Element: Light and Dark are the valuable versions. Confirm the element on the monster page.
- Natural stars: Megumi, Tanjiro, Jin Kazama, Legolas and Stark are natural 4 stars and do not count as LD5.
- Server: the account's server (Global, Europe, Asia and others) sets who you can play with.
- Runes: a collab unit without speed runes adds little in RTA.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still summon old Summoners War collab monsters?
No. Collab characters are summonable only during their event window. Accounts that pulled them keep them permanently, and Com2uS later adds an original twin with the same skills to the normal game.
Are collab monsters stronger than their original twins?
No. The twins share the same skills and stats. RTA statistics count them together, for example Tetsuya and Megumi, or Douglas and Ryu.
What was the most recent Summoners War collab?
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, which ran from 29 June to 1 September 2026 with Frieren, Fern, Stark, Übel and Himmel. The Lord of the Rings collab ran earlier in 2026.
Do collab monsters count as LD5?
Only the Light and Dark versions of natural 5 star collab characters do, such as Light Gojo or Dark Nezuko. Natural 4 star units like Megumi or Tanjiro do not count.
Which collab units were free?
