Short answer: the number of mythical champions sets the price of a RAID: Shadow Legends account. Across 8,370 completed account sales, an account with 4–7 mythicals sold for about 4 times one with a single mythical, and one with 8–12 for about 7 times. Beyond 8 mythicals each extra one still added about 9%. The legendary count comes second, and only a few champions add value on top of the counts: Nais, Bayek, Wixwell, Lydia and the Turtles lead.
This is METAMMO research based on 8,370 completed RAID: Shadow Legends account sales across major marketplaces, April to October 2026. Every figure is relative: it says how much more or less an account sells for, not what it costs. Published 20 October 2026. Accounts for sale are in the RAID catalog.
Factors ranked by effect on price
Each effect is measured with the other factors held equal: a named champion's effect compares accounts with the same number of mythicals and legendaries. The 95% range shows how sure the estimate is.
| Factor | Effect on price | 95% range | Sales in group |
|---|---|---|---|
| 13+ mythicals (vs 1 mythical) | +1,352% (about 14.5x) | +1,086% to +1,677% | 51 |
| 8–12 mythicals (vs 1) | +596% (about 7x) | +534% to +665% | 339 |
| 4–7 mythicals (vs 1) | +306% (about 4x) | +276% to +337% | 863 |
| 2–3 mythicals (vs 1) | +93% | +82% to +105% | 1,121 |
| No mythicals (vs 1) | −39% | −42% to −37% | 3,744 |
| Each extra mythical, accounts with 8+ | +9% | +7% to +12% | 510 |
| 100+ legendaries (vs 15–29) | +331% | +283% to +387% | 1,572 |
| 60–99 legendaries (vs 15–29) | +164% | +139% to +191% | 803 |
| 30–59 legendaries (vs 15–29) | +97% | +85% to +110% | 1,485 |
| A 6-star champion named in the listing | +11% | +2% to +22% | 248 |
Which champions add value beyond the counts
Most famous names do not raise the price once the number of mythicals and legendaries is known: buyers pay for the roster size, and a well-known name is usually already part of it. A handful do carry a premium of their own.
| Champion named in the listing | Effect on price | 95% range | Sales |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nais | +103% | +73% to +139% | 55 |
| Bayek | +34% | +17% to +54% | 88 |
| Wixwell | +33% | +21% to +47% | 209 |
| Lydia | +33% | +14% to +56% | 73 |
| Turtles (TMNT) | +27% | +18% to +37% | 475 |
| Galathir | +23% | +14% to +34% | 382 |
| Hilvi | +22% | +10% to +35% | 191 |
| Siphi | +21% | +7% to +38% | 132 |
| Oz champions (Dorothy, Ozilda and others) | +19% | +4% to +36% | 107 |
| Predator | +16% | +8% to +25% | 324 |
| Ninja | −13% | −18% to −8% | 574 |
| Alaz | −19% | −27% to −10% | 151 |
| Mithrala | −20% | −34% to −3% | 46 |
A negative effect does not mean the champion is bad. It means accounts naming that champion sold for less than other accounts with the same counts: Ninja is the usual free starter pick, so naming him often marks an early-game account. Marius, Mikage, Lazarius, Gnut, Fabian, Rotos, Duchess Lilitu, Arbiter, Toshiro and Gizmak showed no premium beyond the counts. Our champion list explains what each one does.
Prices fell over the summer
Comparable accounts, with the same counts and named champions, sold about 20–25% lower from August to October than in April 2026. The drop built up from May (−8%) through July (−19%) and has held since.
How fast RAID accounts sell
Median time from listing to sale: 3.3 days for 2–3 mythicals, 4.9 days for one, 5.5 days for 4–7, 6.5 days for 8–12 and 14.3 days for 13 or more. The biggest accounts take longest to find a buyer.
About half of the accounts sold (52%) had at least one mythical; 5% had eight or more.
Methodology
- Sample. 8,370 completed RAID: Shadow Legends account sales whose listings stated the number of mythicals and legendaries, 2 April – 19 October 2026, out of 11,102 cleaned sales in the period.
- What counts as a sale. A single-account listing that closed and was not relisted by the same seller within ten days.
- Removed. Services, rentals, shard-only offers and placeholder prices.
- Parsing. Mythical and legendary counts, account level, 6-star mentions and 38 champion names were read from listing titles in English and Russian.
- Model. Log-linear regression of sale price on these factors plus the month of sale, with heteroskedasticity-robust (HC3) standard errors. An effect is exp(coefficient) − 1. The model explains about 74% of the variation in price (R² 0.74).
- Reporting rule. We state an effect as a finding only when p < 0.05 and the group has at least 30 sales.
- Limitations. Prices are the listed price when the sale closed, not any discount agreed in chat. A champion counts only when the seller named it in the title, so the effect is that of naming it. Gear, masteries and progress were rarely stated and are not in the model. Some closed listings were withdrawn rather than sold. The effects show association, not cause.
What we could not confirm
- Account level: its effect changed sign depending on whether the legendary count was in the model, so it is not reported.
- Titus, Siegfrund, Theodosia, Krixia: point to a premium of 12–19%, but the result did not hold across versions of the model.
- Clan Boss, Hydra, arena and speed: named in too few listings to measure.
What to check when buying a RAID account
- The mythical count, on screen. It is what the price rests on. Ask for a recording of the champion index sorted by rarity, not a number in a title.
- The legendary count. It is the second factor. Check how many are actually built.
- The names that carry a premium. If you are paying for Nais, Bayek, Wixwell, Lydia or the Turtles, see them in the index.
- Gear and masteries. The market prices the roster, not the build, so a geared account is worth checking for yourself.
- The Plarium ID binding. Email change and removal of any old Google or Facebook login. See the RAID buying guide.
