Where Winds Meet now has 61 trophies on PS5, but only the 34 in the base game count toward the Platinum, "The Hero is the Voice of the World". Nothing is missable, nothing needs online co-op, and the whole list can be done on the easiest difficulty, so expect roughly 40 to 60 hours for the Platinum and more for the four expansion packs.
The list has grown a lot since launch. Most trophy guides still say "34 trophies" because they were written in November 2025. Since then NetEase has added Hexi, a one-off Event trophy, the Kaifeng Imperial Palace and Hidden Mountain, the region whose story wrapped up with version 2.2 on 18 September 2026. With the Qingzhou region arriving on 15 October 2026, now is a good time to clean up before the next pack lands.

Where Winds Meet trophy list at a glance
| Trophy group | Trophies | Grades | Counts for Platinum? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base game (Qinghe, Kaifeng) | 34 | 1 Platinum, 5 Gold, 10 Silver, 18 Bronze | Yes |
| Pack 1: Hexi | 10 | 3 Silver, 7 Bronze | No |
| Pack 2: Event | 1 | 1 Bronze | No |
| Pack 3: Kaifeng Imperial Palace | 6 | 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 3 Bronze | No |
| Pack 4: Hidden Mountain | 10 | 3 Silver, 7 Bronze | No |
| Total | 61 | 1 Platinum, 6 Gold, 18 Silver, 36 Bronze |
The game is free to play on PS5 and PC (released 14 November 2025), on Xbox Series X|S since June 2026, and on mobile. Steam shows the same 61 achievements, and its "all achievements" unlock only needs the Qinghe and Kaifeng set, mirroring the PS5 Platinum rule.
Platinum difficulty, time and missables
- Difficulty: about 3 to 6 out of 10. A popular Steam 100% guide rates it 3/10; trophy sites that weigh the timed fights put it at 6/10.
- Time: 40 to 60 hours for the Platinum. The Kaifeng Oddities grind is the biggest single time sink.
- Missables: none. Every region stays open after its story ends.
- Online: no multiplayer trophies.
- Difficulty setting: no trophy is tied to difficulty, so play the timed bosses on easy.
One near-miss worth knowing: the rural dogs for "Life Goes to Dogs" leave Blissful Retreat once you finish the Qinghe story. You can still reach them through the Blissful Retreat dreamscape by interacting with a sword nearby, so it is not truly missable, just more annoying.
Platinum roadmap
Step 1: Play the Qinghe and Kaifeng story
Follow the main quest and clear the named campaigns as they appear: Still Shore, Palace of Annals, Jinming Pool and Heavenfall. "Voice of the Valiant" pops after the last Kaifeng main story quest. Grab chests, Oddities and Meow Meow puzzles as you pass them, it saves a lot of backtracking later.
Step 2: Progression trophies
These come naturally. Enhance gear to Lv. 2, push average enhancement to Lv. 5, take one Martial Style to Lv. 30, equip four Internal Arts and fully tune one Epic piece to 300/300. Strategic Sword and Panacea Fan each have a separate "ability steal" quest that awards the mastery trophy, even if you already own the weapon.
Step 3: Bosses and timed fights
Defeat the Nameless General and Wolf Maiden in the open world, then tackle the two speed kills (details below). Also lose a spar to Elder Gongsun at General's Shrine, which you can do by simply standing still.
Step 4: Qinghe ending and cleanup
"The Final Destiny - Qinghe" is the last big lock. You need 100% in Journal, Tales and Echoes: all Bright Tide main quests, the Halo Peak campaign and all seven Dark Surge stories. Halo Peak itself needs Palace of Annals, Bodhi Sea and 6,000 Qinghe exploration points before its quest unlocks.
Hardest Where Winds Meet trophies
| Trophy | Requirement | PS5 rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Speedrun in Granary | Defeat Zheng E within 180s | 6.17% |
| Victory in the Abyss | Defeat The Void King within 60s | 6.65% |
| Goose Slayer | Defeat the Demon Goose once | 6.62% |
| Quick on the Uptake - Kaifeng | Collect 250 Oddities in Kaifeng | 4.83% |
| The Final Destiny - Qinghe | Unlock the Qinghe main story ending | 4.49% |
| A Promise Fulfilled | See the full Granary of Plenty story | 4.91% |
Void King and Zheng E speed kills
The Void King fight unlocks after the Gleaming Abyss campaign, and Zheng E after the Ever-Normal Granary campaign. Upgrade your gear first, switch to easy mode and retry from the challenge menu. Sixty seconds on the Void King is tight, so bring your highest burst build.
Goose Slayer
The Demon Goose sits near the West Heaven's Pier fast travel point. Use wind senses, start the treatment mini-game and deliberately fail it, and the goose attacks. It hits hard. The common shortcut is Tai Chi: throw it into the river to end the fight in one move.
A Promise Fulfilled
After the Ever-Normal Granary campaign ends there are no more quest markers. Talk to Zheng E at his spot (skip a day or two if he is absent), leave a note in the village house, then return and pick up the letter he leaves. That letter pops the trophy.
The rarest trophies are not the hard fights. Story locks like the Qinghe true ending and hidden follow-ups like A Promise Fulfilled sit below 5% because players never see a marker telling them the questline continues.

DLC trophies: Hexi, Imperial Palace, Event and Hidden Mountain
Hexi (10 trophies)
Highlights: "Swift Annihilation" (Wucan within 180 seconds in Liangzhou), "Hexi: Full Moon Rising" (100% Tales and Echoes in Hexi, the rarest of this pack at 4.92%), and "Cat Fever", which needs two Wandering Tales and five cat pets to unlock the encounter.
Kaifeng Imperial Palace (6 trophies)
The Gold here is "All Hail Me": beat The Lone Tyrant in under 180 seconds after the Confinement Tower campaign. "King for a Day" is just sitting on the throne, and "The Real Treasure" comes from catching a golden cricket in the Art in Cricket side quest.
Event (1 trophy)
"The Unspeakable Victory" means instantly defeating every resting campaign boss with the Goosy Slide mythical skill. The original event weekends ended on 30 April 2026, but players report it is still doable outside the event, limited to two bosses per day. Heartseeker, Qianye, God of Avarice and the Liangzhou bosses are not required.
Hidden Mountain (10 trophies)
This is the newest pack and the least documented. "My Domain, My Rules" and "Mountain of Skulls" show 0.00% on PSNProfiles, which suggests they arrived very recently or are bugged. "High Spirits" is tied to the Jianghu Legacy quest Stars as Raiment, and "Sky's the Limit" pops in the skybird area added in version 2.2. Treat exact steps for the 0% pair as unconfirmed for now.
Skip the grind
If you want the endgame regions, Echo Jade and cosmetics without replaying Qinghe from scratch, see our Where Winds Meet accounts and read how buying a Where Winds Meet account works first. Note that trophies are tied to your own PSN or Steam profile, not the game account.

Frequently asked questions
How many trophies does Where Winds Meet have?
61 on PS5: 34 in the base game (1 Platinum, 5 Gold, 10 Silver, 18 Bronze) plus 27 in four DLC packs: Hexi, Event, Kaifeng Imperial Palace and Hidden Mountain.
Do I need the expansion trophies for the Platinum?
No. The Platinum only requires the 33 other base game trophies from Qinghe and Kaifeng. Expansion trophies count toward 100% only.
Are there missable trophies in Where Winds Meet?
No. Every region stays open after its story. The dogs for Life Goes to Dogs move into the Blissful Retreat dreamscape after the Qinghe ending, but remain reachable.
How long does the Where Winds Meet Platinum take?
Plan on 40 to 60 hours. Collecting 250 Oddities in Kaifeng and unlocking all Dark Surge stories for the Qinghe ending take the most time.
Does difficulty affect trophies?
No trophy requires a specific difficulty. Switch to easy mode for the timed fights against The Void King, Zheng E, Wucan and The Lone Tyrant.
Is the Event trophy still obtainable?
Players report it is. Outside event weekends you can still use Goosy Slide on resting campaign bosses, but only two per day, so it takes several days.
