Throne and Liberty gear and Item Level
Since Nix, gear is measured in Item Level, capped at 90. At the top sit Archboss weapons, their Ascended versions, Snowsoul weapons and the Eye of Chaos branch from Colossus Vegamor.

How Item Level works now
Item Level replaced Enhancement
The Frozen Divide: Nix (4.0.0) removed the Enhancement, Transfer and Sync systems. Gear strength is now its Item Level.
Fewer grades
Rare 1 and 2 were merged into Rare, Epic 1 to 3 into Epic. The grades in use are Rare, Epic and Heroic. The old T1, T2 and T3 names (T3 came with Solisium’s Awakening in September 2025) are legacy.
Max Item Level 90
Update 4.12.0 (16 September 2026) raised the maximum Item Level from 80 to 90.
Fixed-level Archboss weapons
Nix Archboss weapons (Ramux) and Snowsoul Archboss weapons have a fixed Item Level of 93 since 4.12.0.

Eye of Chaos
A separate branch: a Heroic weapon upgraded with 60 Otherworldly Mind’s Eyes from Colossus Vegamor (4.13.0), with 10 recipes.

Traits, Resonance and random stats carry over when a weapon is crafted into Snowsoul or Eye of Chaos. Base traits are unlocked with Trait Unlockstones (3 per piece), and Potential Skills roll randomly and can be inherited.
Tradeable or bound
Seals and currencies
Seals replaced Lithographs for making gear tradeable. Sealed gear cannot be equipped, unsealing makes it untradeable, and resealing costs a Seal Key plus Sollant. Potential Skills are kept when an item is sealed.
Lucent is the premium currency, Sollant the everyday one; Ornate Coins and Loyalty Points are the other two. Update 4.7.0 cut the Sollant cost of Trait stones from 218,180 to 43,000.

How close the equipped gear is to the cap of 90, plus traits and Resonance on the key pieces.

No. The Frozen Divide: Nix (4.0.0) removed Enhancement, Transfer and Sync and replaced them with the Item Level system.

Combat Power (CP) is the game’s overall power number; players also call it GS or CB. A Character Boost gives about 7,200 CP, and Tower of Greed recommends 5,500 CP.
