Throne and Liberty has 10 weapons and every character carries two. Gauntlets, the newest, came with Nix in June 2026. Below: each weapon, the pairings players pick most, and what changed in balance since Nix.

Nix also added 5 new weapons per type, 50 in total, and one new passive for every weapon. Weapon Mastery is capped at 220 per weapon and 2,200 overall.

- Sword & Shield and Daggers Potential Abilities: cooldown reduction shortened (6 to 4 s and 9 to 5 s).
- Dagger Skill Cores adjusted: Creeping Death 10% to 12%, Venomous Swamp 10% to 5%, damage to monsters 80% to 15%.

- Longbow: Eye of Ventius monster amplification cut from 50% to 20%.
- Staff: Elemental Awakening thresholds lowered.
4.0.0 Nix (25 Jun 2026)
- Wand: Curse base damage −30%, but the Dark Mastery specialization gives +70% (about +19% overall).
- Spear: Javelin Surge reworked into a targeted skill.
- One new passive for every weapon, and 5 new weapons per type (50 in total).

How many weapons does Throne and Liberty have?
Ten. Seven came with the launch (Greatsword, Sword & Shield, Daggers, Longbow, Crossbow, Staff, Wand), then Spear in December 2024, Orb in September 2025 and Gauntlets with The Frozen Divide: Nix in June 2026.
How many weapons can a character use?
Two at a time. The pair you carry decides your role and skills, so builds are named after weapon pairs.
What is the best weapon combo in Throne and Liberty?
There is no current, patch-dated tier list after Nix. Community build sites most often list Staff + Wand for healing, Sword & Shield + Greatsword for tanking, and Daggers + Crossbow, Crossbow + Orb or Gauntlets + Wand for damage. Treat these as popular picks, not a ranking.
What are Gauntlets in Throne and Liberty?
The 10th weapon, added in update 4.0.0 on 25 June 2026: a melee tank and damage hybrid that switches stances. More than 20 Gauntlets came with it, Heroic and Archboss versions included.
