What each listing’s title states. Same-segment difference compares listings of the same segment with and without the item; small differences are within noise.
How this is calculated
Asking prices of World of Warcraft Classic (Era, Season of Discovery, Hardcore and TBC Anniversary) account listings seen on public marketplaces in the last 90 days, after removing duplicates, rentals, buy requests and the top and bottom 2% of each segment. Each listing is classified by what its title states; listings that state none of the segment criteria are left out. Item figures compare listings of the same segment with and without the item. Classic only: retail, Cataclysm and MoP Classic, private servers, levelling services and empty accounts sold as an edition (level 1) are left out. Most listings are TBC Anniversary characters on European realms, mainly from FunPay; Classic Era, Season of Discovery and Hardcore samples are small, so treat their medians as indicative.
Public account listings on FunPay, EpicNPC — asking prices in USD. Prices in other currencies are converted to USD. Level, gear score, realm, faction and class are what each listing states.
