Before you pay
What to check on a fresh account
- Realm, region and faction. Characters do not move between regions Blizzard. Spineshatter and Nightslayer are PvP realms; Thunderstrike and Dreamscythe are Normal (no open-world PvP).
- Level and raid tier. On TBC Anniversary the cap is 70; listings name the tier (T4, T5, T6) and key items. Hardcore characters are level 60 and lose Hardcore status for good if they die.
- Attunements, riding and professions. Attunements are account-wide on TBC Anniversary; professions cap at 375. Epic flying and finished professions save the most time.
- Access. The Battle.net email and the authenticator must be handed over to you — we walk you through changing both.

What is a WoW Classic Fresh account?
“Fresh” is what players called the Anniversary realms Blizzard opened in November 2024 for a new start on vanilla. Those realms moved to The Burning Crusade on 5 February 2026 (TBC Anniversary, level cap 70). A fresh account today is a character on Spineshatter, Thunderstrike, Nightslayer, Dreamscythe or Maladath — or on the fresh Hardcore realms Soulseeker and Doomhowl, which stayed at level 60.
Which realms count as Fresh?
TBC Anniversary: Spineshatter (EU, PvP), Thunderstrike (EU, Normal), Nightslayer (NA, PvP), Dreamscythe (NA, Normal) and Maladath (Oceania, PvP). Anniversary Hardcore: Soulseeker (EU) and Doomhowl (NA).
Can I move a fresh character to another realm or region?
Not between regions: an EU character stays in Europe. Hardcore characters stay on their Hardcore realm unless moved to Classic Era. Pick the region and realm you will actually play on before you buy.
What should I check before buying a fresh account?
Level (70 on TBC Anniversary, 60 on Hardcore), gear and raid tier, attunements (account-wide on TBC Anniversary), professions up to 375, riding and flying, gold, and that the Battle.net email and authenticator can be handed over to you. Every listing names the realm, faction, race and class.
What if the previous owner takes the account back?
Every account carries a lifetime warranty against recovery by a previous owner: if that ever happens, the original buyer gets a replacement or a refund. Action by Blizzard is not covered.
