A MapleStory account title such as "Kronos 29x NL, 600M CP, 108k HEXA, 10k Legion, Dlibbed, OGE" packs the whole value of the account into shorthand. Legion and Liberation show months of account wide progress, CP and HEXA show how strong the main character is today, and the world plus the original email decide whether the account fits you and stays yours.

World: Heroic or Interactive

MapleStory splits its worlds into two groups. Heroic worlds, the old Reboot worlds, let you progress at your own pace with restricted trading. North America Reboot became Kronos, Europe Reboot became Solis, and Hyperion was added in North America for new and returning players.

Interactive worlds, the old non Reboot worlds, allow trading between players. They are Bera, Scania, Aurora, Elysium and Luna.

Legion and most progress are counted per world. Pick the world first, then compare accounts inside it.

On a Heroic world you cannot buy a finished weapon or a pitched item from another player. Every piece on the account had to be farmed on that account. That is why high end trade concentrates there: about nine in ten of the high end MapleStory listings we reviewed this month are on Heroic worlds.

Legion: the account wide number

The Legion system, also called Maple Union, turns your characters into attackers on a grid and gives bonuses to the whole world. You need either a total level of 500 across your characters or one level 200 character with the fifth job to start it.

Each character becomes a block whose grade depends on its level:

  • Rank B: level 60 to 99
  • Rank A: level 100 to 139
  • Rank S: level 140 to 199
  • Rank SS: level 200 to 249
  • Rank SSS: level 250

Higher Legion levels open more grid space, including outer areas for boss damage, critical rate and EXP. A 9,000 or 10,000 Legion means many characters raised to high levels, which is weeks of leveling you skip.

Level, CP and HEXA: how strong the main is

Level 260 unlocks the sixth job and the HEXA Matrix, which holds HEXA Skills and HEXA Stats. It is fed by Sol Erda and Sol Erda Fragments, which drop while you train in Grandis. HEXA upgrades eat a lot of fragments, so a high HEXA count is stored farming time.

The September 2026 update for the global version, v.271, added HEXA Common Nodes for all classes, adding another place to spend fragments.

Combat Power is the single number the game shows for a character's strength. It is easy to check on a screenshot or in game.

Libbed, Dlibbed and endgame gear

"Libbed" means the main has completed Genesis Liberation and holds a Genesis weapon. "Dlibbed" or "Destiny libbed" goes further. The Destiny Weapon is a level 250 weapon that upgrades an existing Genesis Weapon and belongs to the Eternal set. Its quest opens after the level 275 Shangri La questline.

Gear shorthand you will see:

  • PB, "9 set" or "10 set": how many Pitched Boss items are equipped. The set bonus adds stats, boss damage and ignored defense as pieces stack.
  • ET or Eternal: pieces of the Eternal equipment set.
  • 22*, 23*: the Star Force level of the gear. Equipment level 138 and above can reach 30 stars.
  • Vac pet, mules, boss mules: utility pets and extra characters that clear weekly bosses.

What to check before you buy

  1. World. Confirm Kronos, Hyperion, Solis or the Interactive world you play on.
  2. Original email. OGE in the title should mean you get the email that created the Nexon account.
  3. Live screenshots. CP, Legion, HEXA Matrix and equipped gear, dated after the latest patch.
  4. Mules. Make sure the boss mules sit in the same account, not a separate one.

Frequently asked questions

What does "Reboot" mean in a MapleStory listing?

It is the old name for Heroic worlds. North America Reboot is now Kronos and Europe Reboot is now Solis. Many sellers still write Reboot in titles.

Does Legion carry over to another world?

No. Legion counts the characters inside one world, so a Kronos Legion only helps characters on Kronos.

What is the difference between Libbed and Dlibbed?

Libbed means the Genesis weapon is unlocked. Dlibbed means it was upgraded further into the level 250 Destiny Weapon, which opens after the level 275 Shangri La questline.

Is a higher CP always better?

For the same class, yes. Across classes it is a rough guide only, so compare CP with level, HEXA and Liberation together.

Why does OGE matter so much?

The original email controls recovery of the Nexon login. Without it, the person who created the account can reclaim it.
