The World of Warcraft: Forever Collector's Edition is a physical box sold through the Blizzard Gear Store, built around a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue and bundled with the complete Warcraft Forever Collection digital code. Pre-purchase is open now; the game launches 4 November 2026.
What is in the box
- 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue — the centrepiece.
- Zephras Isle mousepad, named for the Skyborne starting zone, one of Forever’s four new zones.
- Art prints.
- Collectible pins.
- Companion journal.
- Warcraft Forever Collection digital code — everything in the $79.99 digital tier.
Blizzard has not published the Collector's Edition price or a shipping date. Players in Australia and New Zealand pre-purchase through participating regional retailers rather than the Gear Store.

What the digital code unlocks
The Warcraft Forever Collection inside the Collector's Edition is the top digital tier, which means the box also carries everything the cheaper packs do:
- Skyborne race access and the Zephras Isle starting experience.
- Beta access from 17 September.
- Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount, Shen'dorei Skyseer's Garb transmog with back attachment, and the Shen'dorei Windwell toy.
- A Veteran Adventurer's bear mount and transmog set usable in both Forever and modern WoW.
- Companion pets — Zergling, Panda, Diablo and Pachimaru.
- Warcraft III: Reforged and the Forsaken Kingdom campaign.
- 30 days of Game Time from 4 November.
- Three Invite-A-Friend launch codes, and early name reservation.
Which tier is actually worth buying
The honest breakdown, since the gaps between tiers are narrower than the prices suggest:
- Nothing at all — you can still play from 4 November on a subscription. You cannot play the Skyborne.
- $29.99 Heroic — the cheapest way to the new race. If the Skyborne is why you are interested, this is the floor.
- $59.99 Epic — $30 more for beta access and a month of game time. The month is worth about $15 of that, so beta access effectively costs $15 if you were buying the race anyway.
- $79.99 Collection — $20 more for Warcraft III: Reforged and its new campaign. Worth it only if you actually want Warcraft III.
- Collector's Edition — the digital contents are identical to the $79.99 tier. You are paying the difference for a statue, a mousepad, prints, pins and a journal. Judge it as merchandise, because that is what the premium is.
One thing worth knowing about the cosmetics
Pre-purchase cosmetics from previous WoW editions have never returned to sale. If the Cerulean Prideclaw follows that pattern, it becomes unobtainable once the promotion closes — which is exactly the category of item that holds value on an account years later, long after gear and rank have been replaced.
