Wuthering Waves has 37 limited 5-star Resonators as of version 3.7, and the ones that add the most to an account are the current SS-tier supports (Shorekeeper, Chisa, Mornye, Suisui), the 3.x sub-DPS core (Iuno, Lynae, Lucilla) and the collab-only Lucy. Six version 1.x limiteds lost most of their rarity in July 2026, when Kuro put them on a selector banner.

Which limited Resonators add the most value to an account
Value on a WuWa account is not the same as damage on a tier list. A buyer pays for characters that will still be in their teams after the next two patches, and for pulls that are hard to repeat. That favours supports and sub-DPS units over the newest carry, because each new carry is built around them.
Tier 1: the support and sub-DPS core
- Shorekeeper: SS-tier support on Game8's 3.7 list and the benchmark healer the site compares others against. She fits almost every team.
- Chisa, Mornye, Suisui: the other three SS-tier supports in 3.7. Mornye is the Tune Break support that 3.x teams use.
- Iuno, Lynae, Lucilla: the three SS-tier sub-DPS units. Iuno also sits in the S tier as a main DPS, so she covers two roles.
Tier 2: current SS-tier main DPS
- Aemeath, Hiyuki, Yangyang Xuanling, Qingxiao, Jingran, Hsin: the six SS-tier main DPS units in 3.7.
- Hsin debuted on 30 September, so she is still on her first banner and is the easiest of the six to pull right now.
- Hiyuki and Mornye already reran in 3.6 Phase 2, which tells you Kuro returns 3.x units fairly quickly.
Tier 3: the rarity pick
Lucy ranks S as a main DPS, not SS. Her value is scarcity. She ran only during the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover from 8 June to 9 July 2026, and Kuro has not committed to a rerun. Collab characters depend on licensing, so an account with Lucy holds something new players may never get.
Which limiteds lost their rarity
The Starpath Reverbs banner ran from 10 July to 19 August 2026. It let players pick one of six version 1.x limiteds as the rate-up and switch the pick at any time: Jiyan, Yinlin, Jinhsi, Changli, Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao. It had no 5-star weapons, which went to a separate Tideforge Reverbs weapon banner.
A selector banner changes what a character tells you about an account. Before July 2026, Jinhsi or Jiyan on a roster meant the owner pulled on one of their regular limited banners. After Starpath Reverbs, anyone could target them, so they say less about the account. Lucy and the 3.x supports are now the stronger signal of a long, active history.
These six are not bad. Jiyan and Jinhsi still rank S as main DPS, Changli and Zhezhi fill sub-DPS slots, and Yinlin sits in B. They just add less on top of the account price than a 3.x unit of the same tier. Treat them as a bonus, not the reason to buy.
Sequences and signature weapons: what to look for
Each limited has Sequence levels from S0 to S6, gained by pulling extra copies. Each signature weapon refines from R1 to R5. A character banner can lose its 50/50 to a standard 5-star, but the weapon banner always gives the featured weapon at 5-star. A sig therefore means a deliberate spend, not luck.

How 3.7 changes the picture
Phase 1 runs Hsin (new) with reruns of Iuno and Chisa until 22 October. Phase 2 runs from 22 October to 11 November with the new Suoming plus reruns of Lynae and Lucilla. Four of the seven support and sub-DPS core units are therefore pullable this patch.
If an account already has Shorekeeper, Mornye and Suisui, you can use your own pulls on the 3.7 reruns. If it lacks them, those three are not on the 3.7 schedule, so check whether a roster already includes them. How many limited characters are in Wuthering Waves?

Which WuWa characters are not limited?

Will Lucy rerun in Wuthering Waves?

Yes as a player: Game8 ranks her S as a main DPS. As a value signal she counts for less since Starpath Reverbs made her selectable from 10 July to 19 August 2026.
Are signature weapons worth more than Sequences?
On supports, usually yes, because the support stays in teams for several patches. Sigs are also a clear spend signal, since the weapon banner has no 50/50.
