Dragon Ball Legends characters and rarities
Every character in Dragon Ball Legends has a fixed rarity, which tells you how hard the unit is to get and how strong its kit can be.
Stars (Limit Break) and Zenkai Awakening make a unit stronger over time. This page lists the rarities and the units that matter most for account value.
Low to high
Rarities
| Rarity | Short name | How you get it | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| HERO | HE | Summons, events | Common |
| EXTREME | EX | Summons, events | Common; many can Zenkai Awaken |

| LEGEND | LR | Its own banner | Top rarity since 11 February 2026; drop rate 0.5%; LEGEND Action and Superior Element |
