Rare units in Dragon Ball Legends

Most units in Dragon Ball Legends can be earned with time. A few cannot: they come only from limited banners with very low drop rates.

Those units, and how many stars they have, decide most of an account’s value.

Two accounts can both “have Super Vegito”: one at ★1, the other fully broken. The second is much stronger and much rarer, so always ask for the star count of the top units.

Event-limited and anniversary units

Each year the game runs a large anniversary (the 8th ran from mid-May to mid-August 2026) and seasonal festivals; new ULTRA and LEGEND units often launch there.

Supporters, equipment and cosmetics

Supporters: a newer slot type (for example Bulma (Youth) & Jaco).
Equipment adds stats and Ability Bonus. Many maxed pieces show a long-time player.
Sleeves, titles, backgrounds are cosmetic. Some came only from past events; they add little to the value.

What is the rarest unit type in Dragon Ball Legends?

ULTRA. It has the lowest drop rate (0.35%) and appears only on its own banner.

Are LEGENDS LIMITED units still worth it?

Yes. Many LL units stay useful and need limited banners. A high LL count still shows a strong collection.

Do ULTRA units ever come back?

Yes. ULTRA banners return; for example, ULTRA Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta returned in late October 2026.

Is a unit at ★1 worth much?

Less than the same unit at high stars. Stars change power a lot.

Do cosmetics raise the value?

Only a little. Units and stars matter far more.
