The GTA 6 collector's edition is a $399.99 merchandise box called The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection, sold only on the Rockstar Store and shipping from 19 November 2026. It contains 11 physical collectibles, including Oakley sunglasses and a Macca the Gator figure, but no copy of the game.
To actually play, you still need the $79.99 Standard or $99.99 Ultimate Edition.
Rockstar revealed the box on 24 September 2026 through its Newswire, describing it as a limited-edition Collector's Box "inspired by Leonida's hit TV show, Macca the Gator". Pre-orders opened the same day.

What is inside the Vice City Collection
Rockstar's official list has 11 items. Most of them riff on drugs, nightlife and Florida tourist kitsch, which is why the listing carries an 18+ label and a choking hazard warning.
- Macca the Gator figure, 6 inches, with a twist-open stash compartment in the base.
- GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, matte black with Prizm Sapphire lenses.
- New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback with Vice City Leonida embellishments.
- Macca the Gator magnetic mirror.
- Vice City swizzle spoon.
- Vice City razor blade keychain.
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag with patches.
- Chunkee the Manatee shot glass.
- Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a custom metal tin.
- Premium stickers in a stash bag.
- Double-sided souvenir poster showing the full Leonida landscape as a map.
The two licensed pieces carry most of the value. Oakley Frogskins and a New Era 9FORTY are real retail products, not printed knockoffs. The rest is themed memorabilia you will not find in standard retail.
Every previous GTA collector's edition (GTA IV's Special Edition, GTA V's Collector's Edition) shipped with the game and in-game unlocks. GTA 6 splits the two: the collector's box is pure merchandise, and every in-game bonus lives in the digital Ultimate Edition instead. Buying the box gives you nothing inside Leonida.

What the Ultimate Edition adds
Rockstar describes it as "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story." Highlights from the official breakdown:
- Vehicles: '95 Grotti Cheetah, '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with Paradise Garage, Shitzu Squalo boat, plus a Dinka Enduro, Crest Kayak and Vapid Ganado at Jason's safehouse.
- Weapons: Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver variants and personalized weapon skins for both leads.
- Places: Stock 305 clothing store, Sara's Unisex Salon, Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's mod shops, and Electric Fang Tattoo with over 50 designs by the artist collective FAILE.
- Missions: classic car restoration jobs and PTT Youngin$ compound raids.
The pre-order bonus
Every pre-order and qualifying purchase before 20 November 2026 gets the Vintage Vice City Pack: a '55 Vapid Stanier with Shore Court Garage, two Vice City luxury outfits and hairstyles per character, and a tropical weapon pattern. Digital pre-orders also get one free month of GTA+. Pre-load starts 12 November.
One detail catches people out: the boxed physical version of GTA 6 holds a download code, not a disc, according to Game Informer's report on Rockstar's announcement.
How to pre-order the collector's box
- Go to store.rockstargames.com and find "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State" under merchandise.
- Sign in with your Rockstar Games Social Club account.
- Check your country is on the shipping list (below) before you pay.
- Pre-order one unit. The limit is one per person.
- Buy the game separately on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store or at retail.
The box is not listed at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy or any other retailer. Any listing elsewhere before launch is a reseller, usually with a markup.
Which countries can order
Gfinity's check of the Rockstar Store found the box ships to the United States, Canada, the UK and most of Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
It cannot be ordered in Asia, Latin America, Australia or New Zealand. Shipping is charged separately; the listing states the item "is not eligible for free shipping."
Is it sold out?
Not at the time of the last public checks. The US listing was still taking pre-orders the day after reveal, and the EU store page shows the box at €399.99 in pre-order state.
Rockstar has not published how many units exist, only that it is limited and sold "while supplies last." Stock can disappear quickly, so check the store page directly rather than relying on third-party trackers.
What is not confirmed
- Production run. Rockstar has given no unit count.
- Restocks. No statement on whether a second wave will follow.
- Other regions. No date for Asia, Latin America or Oceania.
- A bundle with the game. Rockstar has announced no edition that combines the box and a game copy.
- PC version. GTA 6 is announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
Should you buy it?
It makes sense if you collect GTA memorabilia and would buy Oakley Frogskins and a New Era cap anyway. It makes no sense as a way to get the game, since it does not include one. If your goal is the most content in Leonida, put the money toward the Ultimate Edition, and decide on the box separately.
