Short answer: until World of Warcraft: Forever launches on 4 November 2026, no levelled Forever account exists anywhere, so any "level 60 Forever account" offered today is a Classic or retail account, or a scam. From launch day you can buy one from a store such as METAMMO or from an escrow marketplace (G2G, Eldorado, PlayerAuctions). METAMMO is a store, not a marketplace: you buy every account from METAMMO, not from an individual seller, so the deal and the recovery risk are ours. Each account is checked by hand, handed over with the Battle.net email and covered for life against recovery by a previous owner. You can tell us now what you want (region, ruleset, faction, class, level) and we contact you when it is ready.
Launch facts come from Blizzard's own announcements, collected on our WoW Forever hub. Marketplace terms come from each platform's help pages, checked 6 October 2026. This guide was updated on 20 October 2026 and will be updated on launch day.
Why you cannot buy a levelled Forever account yet
Forever starts on fresh, realmless rulesets on 4 November 2026: Normal, PvP and Roleplaying at launch, Hardcore later. Characters do not carry over from Classic Era, Season of Discovery or retail, and Blizzard has not announced a transfer. Reaching level 60 takes around 150 hours of play for a first character, by community estimates, so the first level 60 accounts appear days after launch, not before. A seller offering one today is selling something else under the Forever name.
What you can buy before launch is the game itself: an edition or a subscription from the Battle.net shop. That is not an account sale and needs no third party.
Where to buy a WoW Forever account after launch
| Where | Type | Free account cover | Recovery by a previous owner covered? | Time to report a problem |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| METAMMO | Store: you buy from METAMMO, every account hand-checked | Lifetime, included | Yes, for life: replacement or full refund, your choice. Bans not covered | No time limit on recovery claims |
| G2G | Marketplace with escrow | 14 days | Yes, as an access or ownership problem | 72 hours after delivery |
| Eldorado.gg | Marketplace with escrow | 5 days on most games | Yes: "recovered by the seller" is a listed case | 3 days after delivery |
| PlayerAuctions | Marketplace with escrow | Only if the seller offers it: 7, 14 or 30 days | Yes, within that cover | 72 hours |
Marketplaces hold your payment until delivery, which protects you against a seller who disappears; their cover then lasts days or weeks. A recovery by the original owner can come months later, which is the gap a lifetime warranty against recovery closes.
What to check before paying
- The Battle.net account and its email. A WoW character lives on a Battle.net account. You need the account email and password, then you change both, and remove the seller's phone and authenticator.
- Region. Characters exist per Battle.net region (Americas, Europe and so on). Buy in the region you play from.
- Ruleset and faction. Forever has no realms: you pick a ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplaying, later Hardcore), and you cannot group across rulesets. Confirm both on a character-select screenshot.
- Level, gear and professions shown, not just written. Ask for screenshots with the character name visible.
- Subscription and game access. Check whether the account has game time left and which edition it owns.
- How the character was levelled. Bots and exploits get accounts banned. A seller who levelled by hand will say so.
Red flags
- A levelled Forever account offered before 4 November 2026.
- A seller who hands over the game login but keeps the Battle.net email or authenticator.
- A request to pay outside a marketplace or store checkout "to save fees".
- A promise that the account cannot be banned. Account trading is against Blizzard's terms, and nobody can promise that.
How METAMMO handles WoW Forever accounts
METAMMO is a store, not a marketplace: you buy every account from METAMMO, not from an individual seller, so the deal and the recovery risk are ours. Each account is checked by hand, handed over ready to play and covered for life against recovery. We have sold WoW Classic accounts for years and know how Blizzard's rules and bans work, so we tell you what to avoid. Bans by Blizzard are not covered.
Before launch: send a request or join our Discord, say the region, ruleset, faction, class and level you want, and we contact you when a matching account is ready. Today you can also browse WoW Classic accounts, read the launch time and servers, or plan your character with the Forever tier list.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy a WoW Forever account?
From launch on 4 November 2026: from a store such as METAMMO, where you buy from METAMMO itself with a lifetime warranty against recovery, or from escrow marketplaces such as G2G, Eldorado and PlayerAuctions. Before launch, no levelled Forever account exists.
Can I reserve a WoW Forever account before launch?
Yes. Tell METAMMO the region, ruleset, faction, class and level you want, and we contact you when a matching account is ready. Nothing is paid until then.
Can I move my Classic character to Forever?
Blizzard has not announced transfers from Classic Era, Season of Discovery or retail. Assume they are not possible until Blizzard says otherwise.
Is buying a WoW Forever account against Blizzard's rules?
Yes. Blizzard's terms do not allow selling or transferring accounts. METAMMO's warranty covers recovery by a previous owner, not bans.
