Shen'dralas is one of four new areas in WoW: Forever, a hidden region between Mulgore and Desolace reached through the Valley of Bones. Its story ties into the Shen'dralar of Dire Maul and the Desolace centaurs. Blizzard has not published an official level range, but the beta notes of October 8, 2026 set the new centaur quests that lead there to a minimum of level 35.
This guide lists only what Blizzard and reliable secondary sources have shown, and flags each item that comes from datamined beta data.
What Blizzard has said about Shen'dralas
Blizzard introduced Shen'dralas in the What's Next panel recap on September 12, 2026, as one of the new and reimagined regions alongside Mount Hyjal, the Riverglades and Zephras Isle. It described the area as a long-hidden mystery between Mulgore and Desolace, connected to the Shen'dralar, Eldre'Thalas, Dire Maul and the centaur tribes.
The Found Photos panel recap a day later added the route in. Shen'dralas lies south of Desolace through the Valley of Bones and explores characters and stories connected to Eldre'Thalas. The same recap says Desolace's centaur faction quests receive additional content and faction rewards.
That is the full extent of the official descriptions so far. There is no Blizzard article dedicated to Shen'dralas, unlike the Skyborne starting zone.

The lore connection
The Shen'dralar are the Highborne elves of Eldre'Thalas, the ancient city that players know as the Dire Maul dungeon in Feralas. In the original game their story stayed inside that dungeon. Blizzard's own framing for Forever is that Shen'dralas extends it into a new outdoor area.
The centaur thread is just as direct. Desolace has always been split between centaur clans, and the original game already had reputation quests for the Gelkis and the Magram. Forever adds new quests for both clans, and those quests begin at the Valley of Bones.
Warcraft Tavern, reporting from BlizzCon on September 13, adds that the zone continues the Kolkar, Gelkis and Magram stories and has ties to Prince Tortheldrin, and that its quests connect to Razorfen Downs and Maraudon. Those details are from the panel as reported, not from a Blizzard article.
Level range and the beta quest change
Blizzard has not given Shen'dralas a level range. The closest official signal is a blue post. In the WoW Forever Beta Development Notes updated October 8, 2026, the new Gelkis and Magram quests that begin with "Valley of Bones" were raised to a minimum of level 35, up from 30.
The same notes retuned 16 reward items from those quests, including Blade of the Magram Clan, Centaur Spear, Kolkar Marauder Chain and Staff of Revelations. Blizzard said most simply had their power adjusted to fit the quest level.
So the entry point sits at 35 or higher in the current beta build. How far the zone's content runs above that is unknown. Note that the beta itself is capped at level 30, so testers cannot do these quests on a normal character before launch on November 4, 2026.

How Shen'dralas fits the leveling path
Based on the confirmed pieces, Shen'dralas is mid-level content reached through Desolace. The centaur chains that open it need level 35, which places it in the same window as the Riverglades, the other new mid-level region. That gives players two new options in the 35 to 45 stretch.

Datamined details
Warcraft Wiki's Shen'dralas page, built from beta data, lists it as contested territory south-east of Desolace, between Feralas and Mulgore. It names six subzones: Bristleback Retreat, Evenshade Overlook, Magram Front, Outcast Hideaway, Shen'dralas and the Valley of Bones. Inhabitants listed are Highborne, Magram centaurs and Bristleback quilboar.
Wowhead's Forever database shows the Magram quest "Valley of Bones" given by Orgrul at the south end of Magram Village, as one step of a longer chain. These are beta records and can change before launch.

- The zone's official level range and quest count.
- Flight paths, faction hubs and whether both factions quest there equally.
- What the new centaur faction rewards are at each reputation level.
- Whether Shen'dralas has its own dungeon. None has been announced.
