Jason Duval
Rockstar's tagline: "Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder." He grew up around grifters and crooks, joined the Army to shake off a troubled youth, then ended up in the Leonida Keys "working for local drug runners."
He lives rent-free in one of Brian Heder's properties, as long as he helps with local shakedowns. Rockstar frames Lucia as the turning point: meeting her "could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him."
Lucia Caminos
Lucia is the first female lead of a 3D-era Grand Theft Auto, and the first character players saw: Trailer 1 (December 2023) opens with her in a Leonida prison interview.
Official facts about her:
- "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk." Rockstar's screenshots show her training on a heavy bag.
- "Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out."
- She wants "the good life her mom has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City."
- Trailer 2 (6 May 2025) shows Jason picking her up outside prison.
Game Informer's September 2026 cover story adds a system around the pair. Players can grow Jason and Lucia's bond into friendship or romance through small acts like holding hands, answering texts and joining activities. You cannot break them up, and the relationship gives no gameplay bonuses.
The supporting cast Rockstar introduced
All six were revealed with Trailer 2 in May 2025 and have their own pages on the official site.
Cal Hampton
"What if everything on the internet was true?" Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian's, Cal stays home "snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open." Rockstar sums him up as "at the low tide of America and happy there."
Boobie Ike
"A local Vice City legend" who turned street money into real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. His bigger bet is Only Raw Records with Dre'Quan. A line from his official page: "The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all."
Dre'Quan Priest
"Always more of a hustler than a gangster," Dre'Quan dealt on the street but always aimed at music. Now that he has signed the Real Dimez, he wants a bigger place in the Vice City scene than booking acts for Boobie's club.
Real Dimez
Bae-Luxe and Roxy, high school friends who turned "shaking down local dealers" into rap tracks and social media clout. An early single with rapper DWNPLY took off. Five years later they are signed to Only Raw, chasing a second hit.
Raul Bautista
"Confidence, charm, and cunning." Raul is a seasoned bank robber always recruiting talent. Rockstar warns his "recklessness raises the stakes with every score."
Brian Heder
"A classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys," still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori. He hands Jason a gun in one official screenshot and lets others do his dirty work.
Other characters named so far
These are named in official material but do not have profile pages:
- Lori Heder, Brian's wife, named in his official bio.
- Wyman, an "eccentric collector and local fixer" who gives classic car missions in the Ultimate Edition.
- PTT Youngin$, a Southside Vice City gang whose compound you raid in an Ultimate Edition mission.
The 27 August 2026 Extended Look on Netflix showed more. GTABase and other trackers identify Méndez, a ruthless Vice City police officer first glimpsed in Trailer 2, and Raymond, who runs a drug lab for a gang called San4San. Rockstar has not profiled either, so treat their roles as reported, not official.
Rockstar has not credited a single actor. The only confirmed name came from the actor himself: Stephen Root told the Associated Press at a 13 September red carpet that fans spotted his King of the Hill voice in the trailers. Expect the full cast list to surface in the end credits after launch, not before.
GTA 6 cast and actors: what is confirmed
- Stephen Root (Brian Heder): confirmed. Root told the AP he is in the game, which Kotaku and Collider reported in September 2026. Rockstar itself has made no statement.
- Manni L. Perez (Lucia) and Dylan Rourke (Jason): unconfirmed. IMDb and Box Office Mojo list both for the Extended Look, but IMDb is user-edited and the video shows no cast card.
- Bobby Moynihan (Cal): unconfirmed. Based on fans recognising his voice in the Extended Look.
Rockstar's marketing sells the characters, not the performers, and its pages name no actors at all. We will update this list if Rockstar or the actors confirm more names.

Who voices Jason in GTA 6?
IMDb lists Dylan Rourke, whose credits include Station 19 and 9-1-1: Lone Star. Rockstar has not confirmed this.
