Standard Edition: what you get
The Standard Edition is the full game. Bought before 20 November 2026, it also comes with the Vintage Vice City Pack:
- A '55 Vapid Stanier with a Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, including a weapon locker and stash space.
- A pastel linen suit and haircut for Jason.
- A red sequin dress and curly hairstyle for Lucia.
- A tropical weapon finish inspired by Tommy Vercetti's shirt.
Digital pre-orders through the PS Store or Microsoft Store add one month of GTA+. The PS Store version must be redeemed by 31 March 2027 and auto-renews unless cancelled.
Ultimate Edition: what the extra $20 buys
Rockstar describes it as "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story." Items unlock chapter by chapter as the story progresses, not all at once.
| Category | Ultimate Edition content |
|---|---|
| Vehicles | '95 Grotti Cheetah, '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, Shitzu Squalo boat, Ganado Retro Build modkit, Jason's safehouse vehicles (Dinka Enduro, Crest Kayak) |
| Weapons | Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, personalized Girardi ES9 (Jason) and Klose K17 (Lucia) pistols |
| Shops and places | Stock 305 clothing store, Sara's Unisex Salon, Rideout Customs, One-Eyed Willie's mod shop, Electric Fang Tattoo with 50+ designs by the FAILE collective |
| Missions and activities | Classic Car Collection jobs, PTT Youngin$ compound |
| Apparel | Goodtime Gear collection, Vice City Style Pack |
You do not have to decide now. The Ultimate Edition Upgrade is a separate add-on, listed on Xbox at $20.00. The PS Store shows the upgrade but, as of 9 October, not as purchasable yet.
The price gap is exactly the upgrade price, so pre-ordering Ultimate saves nothing over buying Standard and upgrading later. The only reason to commit now is if you want the extra content from your first hour of play. Everyone gets the Vintage Vice City Pack either way.
GTA 6 physical copy: price and format
The boxed version costs the same as digital: $79.99 at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop and Target, and £69.99 at UK retailers such as Amazon, Argos and Currys. The Rockstar Store sells it at €79.99 in Europe.
- No disc. Rockstar's store page says physical versions "will only contain a download code inside the box to support pre-load on November 12."
- Standard only. There is no boxed Ultimate Edition. GamesRadar confirms Ultimate is sold only through the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
- Bonus while supplies last. Physical orders get the Vintage Vice City Pack, but the Rockstar Store adds "while supplies last".
- No GTA+ month. That extra is for digital store pre-orders.
Because the code is single-use, a used copy has no resale value. Two North American retailers, Video Games Plus and Loot Box Gaming, have refused to stock the game for that reason.
The collector's edition
The only premium physical product is The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection: a $399.99 merchandise box from the Rockstar Store with no copy of the game. Contents, regions and shipping are covered in our GTA 6 collector's edition guide. For ordering steps, bonuses and refund rules, see our GTA 6 pre-order guide.
What is not announced
- PC price: no PC version has been announced.

No. Rockstar has announced one price per edition, and pre-orders cost the same. The difference is the Vintage Vice City Pack, which needs a purchase before 20 November 2026.
Is there a physical GTA 6 Ultimate Edition?
No. The Ultimate Edition is digital only on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Physical buyers can add the Ultimate Edition Upgrade later as a separate purchase.

There is no PC price because no PC version has been announced. GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only.
