The first level 60s in WoW: Forever were five Horde characters from Team JokerD (Jokerd Prime, Burning Speed, Cloud Bells, Lmgd Mmr and Vitochie Gofast), who dinged together about 52 hours after launch, on November 7, 2026 (around 03:10 UTC by a community tracker's timestamp). Wowhead and Icy Veins reported the group world first, Vice covered the team, and Icy Veins later reported the first solo 60: KSuper2, a Night Elf Beast Mastery Hunter.

Who hit level 60 first
According to Wowhead, the world first was claimed "after almost 52 hours" by a group of five who levelled at exactly the same time: Jokerd Prime, Burning Speed, Cloud Bells, Lmgd Mmr and Vitochie Gofast. Icy Veins names the players behind them as Jokerd, Cloudbells, Vitochie, Lmgd and b_urning, calls them known names from the Classic speedrunning community, and says they play on the EU Normal ruleset.
Vice describes the group as Team JokerD, "a team of mostly Undead characters and one Troll", and notes the same team was also first to 60 when WoW Classic launched in 2019. Undead and Troll are Horde races.
The community tracker worldfirst60.com lists Cloud Bells, an Undead Paladin, as first seen at level 60 on November 7 at 03:10. The aggregator EndgameTools, using the same tracker data, gives that time as 03:10 UTC and puts Jokerd Prime at 03:11 UTC. These trackers are fan-run and not Blizzard data, so treat the minute-level order as unofficial. The point all sources agree on is that the five reached 60 together.

Time since launch vs /played
WoW: Forever went live on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 pm PST, which is 23:00 UTC. A level 60 at about 03:10 UTC on November 7 is roughly 52 hours of real time after the servers opened, which matches the "almost 52 hours" in Wowhead's report and the "52 hours" in Icy Veins' report.
That is wall-clock time, not /played. None of the sources we read published a /played total for any of the five characters. Vice only says the team spent "a little more than two days straight" gaining XP. If you see a specific /played number quoted elsewhere, it did not come from Wowhead, Icy Veins or Vice.
How they did it: AoE grinding
Wowhead explains the method: the Paladin pulled everything, then the Mages used Arcane Explosion to kill the packs. Vice adds that the team used the buffed Undead racial Cannibalize to stay topped up on health and mana between big pulls.
Icy Veins says the group levelled with some normal AoE play early on and switched to full-time AoE grinding at around level 35. It lists the spots they moved through as they outlevelled each area:
- Dreadmurk Shore in Dustwallow Marsh
- Ruins of Zul'Mamwe in Stranglethorn Vale
- Lost Rigger Cove in Tanaris
- Dalson's Tears and Gahron's Withering in Western Plaguelands
Icy Veins also says they used phasing to keep respawns coming instead of waiting for mobs. Keeping five characters on exactly the same XP was the hard part: according to Wowhead, Jokerd said on stream that even one experience point could leave a player behind, and the last four percent of level 59 took careful maths about which mobs to kill and when.
The first solo level 60
Icy Veins reported the solo world first a day after the group: KSuper2, a Night Elf Beast Mastery Hunter. In its earlier report, Icy Veins said Ksuper plays on the EU Normal ruleset and was taking "a more orthodox questing route", and at that time was level 54 according to the World First 60 site.
Icy Veins notes that KSuper2 was not in a group but did get some help from players outside the party who helped kill mobs. It credits the Hunter's pet, which can tank while the player attacks from range, as a reason the class suits solo questing. Icy Veins did not publish an exact time for the solo ding or a /played figure.
What it means for normal players
Icy Veins points out that reaching the cap in about three days takes huge time commitment and very little time away from the PC. Vice writes that most players will not hit 60 for weeks. The group run also depended on five people coordinating pulls and XP, which does not translate to normal play.
The useful takeaways are smaller: AoE classes with a puller can farm dense mob camps, and Hunters remain strong solo questers. The first raids open on December 9, so there is time.
