About Apex Legends accounts with Octane’s Butterfly Knife
Octane’s Butterfly Knife arrived with the System Override collection event in March 2020, the same patch that replaced heirloom drops with Heirloom Shards. Players who owned all 24 event items got it automatically; since then it costs 150 Heirloom Shards in the Mythic store. In March 2024 the Inner Beast event added a red-tinted second set, Octane’s Prototype.
Octane was the third most played legend in late October 2026 by Apex Legends Status pick rates, and his knife is one of the heirlooms buyers ask for by name. A set takes 150 shards, which drop at 0.045% per pack and are guaranteed only by the 500th eligible pack, so an account that already has it is the quick way to own one.
This page lists the accounts at METAMMO whose title names the Butterfly Knife or Octane’s heirloom.
What to check before you buy
- Each heirloom by name, in a current screenshot of the legend's melee slot or the heirloom collection, not only the number in the title.
- Platform links on the EA account (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox): they decide where you play it, and some platform-bound items do not carry over between platforms.
- Prestige skins, retired event skins and badges: they decide where an account sits among others with the same heirloom count.
- Full access to the EA account: email, login and password, so you can secure the account yourself right after delivery.
You buy every account from METAMMO. We check the heirlooms and skins by hand before listing, give you full access to the EA account (email, login and password) in a private support ticket, and help you secure it with your own email, password and two-factor so the account answers only to you. Every account has a lifetime warranty against recall or recovery by a previous owner: a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
