Does the tier list matter for an account?
Not much. Every legend can be unlocked with Legend Tokens, so the meta changes nothing about what an account holds. What does matter is whether the legend you play has an heirloom or a Prestige skin on the account: see all 28 legends and heirlooms.

Which Apex legends are the best right now?
In Season 30 “Marked”, GameRiv’s launch tier list (5 August 2026) put Bloodhound, Loba, Alter, Conduit, Bangalore, Axle in S tier after the Bloodhound rework and the Loba and Rampart buffs. By pick rate on 27 October 2026 (Apex Legends Status), the most played legends were Pathfinder, Loba, Octane, Mad Maggie, Wraith.
Who is the best legend in Apex right now?
There is no single answer. At the start of Season 30, GameRiv’s editorial list put Bloodhound, Loba, Alter, Conduit, Bangalore, Axle in S tier. By live pick rate on 27 October 2026, the most played legends were Pathfinder (12.6%), Loba (8.6%), Octane (7.5%), Mad Maggie (6.6%), Wraith (5.6%).
What changed for legends in Season 30?
Bloodhound was reworked with a new ultimate, Allfather’s Cloak. Loba and Rampart were buffed; Valkyrie, Axle and Seer were toned down.
Is pick rate the same as strength?
No. Pick rate shows what players choose, which follows both strength and taste: Pathfinder and Octane are popular in every season. Read it together with a tier list and the latest patch notes.
