A Valorant account belongs to the region it was created in: Europe (EU), North America (NA), Asia-Pacific (AP), Korea, Latin America or Brazil. The region decides your servers, your ping and who you queue with. You cannot switch it from the client; Riot Support moves an account only when the owner has really relocated, and then not again for 90 days.

Valorant smurf accounts vs main accounts

A smurf account here means a second, ranked-ready account: level 20 or higher with Competitive unlocked, usually with a small collection and a low or unplayed rank. Players buy one to queue with friends in another rank, to learn a new agent or role without touching their main rank, or to play in a second region. These are the lowest-priced accounts in the catalog; ranked-ready Valorant accounts are listed on their own page.

A main account is bought for what it holds: limited bundles, knives, a deep store collection and rank buddies from past episodes. Its price follows the collection, and rank adds the least. If you plan to make it your everyday account, the region and the agents matter as much as the skins.
