Rare mounts FAQ

What are the rarest mounts in World of Warcraft?

The rarest WoW mounts are the ones that cannot be obtained any more: the Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal, the original Zul’Gurub Swift Zulian Tiger and Swift Razzashi Raptor, the Amani War Bear, Trading Card Game mounts like the Swift Spectral Tiger, and every past-season Gladiator mount. They only exist on accounts that earned them.

What is the rarest mount in WoW?

The rarest are mounts that can no longer be obtained at all: the Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal (Scarab Lord era), the Swift Zulian Tiger and Swift Razzashi Raptor (original Zul’Gurub), the Amani War Bear, and TCG mounts such as the Swift Spectral Tiger. Past-season Gladiator mounts are also gone for good.

Can you still get Ashes of Al’ar or Invincible?

Yes. They are rare drops from old raids (Tempest Keep and Icecrown Citadel) that can still be farmed weekly, so they show patience rather than history.

Which mounts can I still earn in Season 2?

Breath of Blight mount — Mythic+ 2,000 rating; Breath of Ruin mount — Mythic+ 3,000 rating; Primeval Skyfriend — Mythic Ula’tek; Crimson Venomfang — Glory of The Venomous Abyss; Venomous Gladiator’s Goredrake — Gladiator, PvP Season 2; Delver’s Journey rank 5: Corroded Soul Crusher mount; Labyrinth of Kindo’jan (12.1.5): Loa-Blessed Wayfarer mount; Preyhunter’s Fury — Prey journey rank 10.

Can I buy an account with rare mounts?

Yes. Listings at METAMMO name the mounts in the title; ask for a screenshot of the mount journal before buying. Every account is checked by hand and has a lifetime warranty against recovery by a previous owner.
