  • Reagents and consumables now come in two quality tiers, Silver and Gold.
  • Concentration is capped at 1,000.
  • Artisan’s Acuity is replaced by profession-specific Artisan’s Moxie.
  • Specialisation trees were reworked; knowledge comes mainly from Patron work orders.
  • Inscription can craft bows, and Darkmoon cards are craftable again.
  • One free full profession respec per character in Season 2.

What changed for professions in WoW Midnight?

In Midnight, reagents and consumables come in two quality tiers (Silver and Gold), Artisan’s Moxie replaces Artisan’s Acuity, Concentration is capped at 1,000, specialisation knowledge comes mainly from Patron work orders, and Inscription can craft bows. Each character gets one free profession respec in Season 2.

How many professions can I have?

Two primary professions per character (crafting or gathering), plus the secondary professions Cooking and Fishing.

What is the best profession for gold in Midnight?

There is no fixed answer: prices on your realm’s auction house decide it. Gathering pays from day one with no investment; crafting pays once your specialisation and Concentration let you craft Gold-quality items others order.

Can I change my profession specialisation?

In Season 2 each character gets one free full profession respec.
