What changed for classes

  • Devourer Demon Hunter: a third, ranged spec that uses Intellect leather and Void abilities. Demon Hunter page.
  • Apex talents: a capstone cluster for every spec, 4 points from level 81, and 10 new talent points in total (3 class, 3 hero, 4 spec). Hero talents stay.
  • Void Elf Demon Hunters through a quest chain; the Haranir join as a new allied race.
  • Addons: combat data is now a “secret value” that addons can display but not calculate with, so rotation helpers work differently.
  • Coming in patch 12.2: Forsaken, Night Elf and Troll Paladins.

How many classes and specs are in WoW Midnight?

World of Warcraft: Midnight has 13 classes and 40 specialisations. The only new spec is the Devourer, a ranged Intellect Demon Hunter; Druid is the only class with four specs, and Paladin, Monk and Druid can tank, heal and deal damage.

How many classes are in WoW Midnight?

What is the best class for beginners in WoW Midnight?

Classes with a self-healing tank or a simple ranged spec are the easiest start: Death Knight (Blood), Demon Hunter (Vengeance or Havoc), Paladin and Hunter (Beast Mastery) are common picks. Paladin, Druid and Monk can also heal, which makes finding groups quicker.

Which classes can tank, heal and deal damage?

Paladin, Monk and Druid can fill all three roles (Druid has four specs). Warrior, Death Knight and Demon Hunter can tank; Priest, Shaman and Evoker can heal.

Which class is the strongest in Season 2?

It depends on content. On Archon’s Mythic+ data from 16 October, Blood Death Knight and Holy Paladin lead tanks and healers; on Icy Veins’ raid list Subtlety Rogue tops damage. See the tier list page for the dated sources.
