Buying a Demon Hunter account: what to check

Devourer uses Intellect leather, Havoc and Vengeance use Agility: a Demon Hunter geared for Havoc is not geared for Devourer.
Demon Hunters start at a higher level than most classes, so a level-90 Demon Hunter says little on its own: compare item level and Mythic+ rating.
Ask for screenshots of the character sheet (item level), the Mythic+ rating and the achievements and mounts tabs; titles such as Gladiator or Cutting Edge are worth more than item level, which every season resets. See rare collectibles.
