Ice/Lightning Wizard guide
Thunder Bolt and Cold Beam: the beginner-friendly area mage. Magician 2nd job at level 30; weapon, key skills, the stat build and SP order players use, strengths and weaknesses.
- Thunder Bolt hits up to 6 monsters.
- Cold Beam slows and hits through terrain; many Victoria Island monsters are weak to ice.
- Rated low difficulty by henesys.gg.
- High MP cost and low HP.
- Rated B for area and single-target damage in a community level-70 benchmark.
Comfortable: Teleport plus 6-target Thunder Bolt; plan for MP potions.
Meditation and area damage; fragile, so keep distance.

Levels 10–30: Magician build
INT main; LUK only for wand reqs (Lv20 10, Lv25 15, Lv30 20). SP: Energy Bolt 20 first, Magic Guard, Improved MP Recovery, then Magic Armor 20 and Max MP Increase 15 (default armor-first)
Levels 30–100: stats and SP order
Same INT/LUK curve as F/P (~299 INT/63 LUK base at Lv70). SP: Teleport 1 -> Cold Beam 30 (Lv40) -> Thunder Bolt 30 (Lv50) -> MP Eater 3 -> Meditation 20; Thunder Bolt first if you consistently hit 3+ mobs
High MP cost, low HP. MeowDB L70: B in AoE/ST DPS. henesys.gg difficulty: Low (beginner-friendly)

Level 1 to 30
Getting to 2nd job
- Finish the Maple Island quests (about level 8), then take the boat to Victoria Island.
- At level 10 talk to Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia for 1st job (Magician). Put AP into INT.
- Train through the 20s; Kerning PQ opens at 21.
- At level 30 return to Grendel the Really Old, pass the instructor test (30 Dark Marbles for The Proof of a Hero, per community guides) and choose Ice/Lightning Wizard. Keep a free Use slot.
