How Classic jobs differ from the original

  • Level cap 100 at Founder's Access/launch; 1st job Lv10, 2nd job Lv30; 3rd job (Lv70, El Nath) excluded from Founder's Access and initial Grand Launch build along with Orbis/El Nath
  • No stat requirements for job advancement (e.g. a 4-INT Beginner can become a Warrior)
  • Rush moved into 2nd job for Fighter, Page and Spearman (launch: 15 MP at max, 6 targets, 2s cooldown); Power Guard moved to 3rd job (Crusader/White Knight); Hyper Body stays Dragon Knight only
  • All 2nd-job Final Attack skills cut from 50% to 25% proc chance between COT2 and launch
  • Slash Blast hits up to 6 mobs (was 4 in COT2); Iron Arrow 4->6 targets; Cleric Holy Arrow 3 targets/60 -> 1 target/160; Bandit Steal buff 30->60s
  • Haste weaker than 2008 version: +30 Speed/+10 Jump vs +40/+20
  • Cleric Heal damage considerably lower than pre-Big Bang
  • HP washing removed: per-level HP/MP gain is fixed per class, no INT scaling (based on COT1 data, may differ at launch)
  • Max HP Increase gives an immediate % of base Max HP instead of a flat per-level bonus; base HP raised for all classes
  • Ranged classes shoot at point-blank range instead of the old melee swing; claw punching still exists for thieves
  • 2nd-job SP cannot be spent on 1st-job skills; AP Reset and SP Reset Scrolls cost 7,000 NX each (Cash Shop)
  • Pirates and the Nautilus start area are not in the initial release
