Hunter in WoW Forever
Traps work in combat, Aimed Shot is baseline, and Marksmanship gets a pet-free build.

Baseline changes — every Hunter
These apply regardless of how you spend talent points.
NewFoxesA new pet family with Trickster’s Dance. Every family can now learn Bite or Claw and Dive or Dash, plus one ability unique to the family.
ChangedTrapsUsable in combat, with the cooldown raised to 30 seconds. Frost and Fire traps no longer share a cooldown — the single biggest quality-of-life change the class has ever had.
ChangedAimed ShotBaseline at level 20 rather than a talent.
ChangedArcane ShotNo longer shares a cooldown with Aimed Shot. Multi-Shot now does instead.
ChangedAspect of the BeastGrants melee Attack Power, giving Survival a reason to use it.
ChangedPet statsPets scale from your gear, but no longer receive player buffs that raise their stats.
ChangedDisengageThreat reduction doubled.
Summon Hawk arrives as a 16-point payoff, and Intimidation turns the pet into a crit machine.
NewSummon Hawk16-point talent. Summons a Hawk for 18 seconds, up to two active at once.
NewFocused FireIncreases all your damage while a pet is active — the counterweight to Marksmanship’s new Lone Wolf.
ChangedIntimidationBehind Bestial Swiftness, and now grants the pet 100% critical strike chance.
ChangedEndurance TrainingMerged with Thick Hide; grants pet health and armour together.
ChangedBestial DisciplineMana regeneration from Spirit while casting.
RemovedImproved Eyes of the BeastBaseline now, as is Thick Hide via the merge.

Levelling a Hunter to 60
About 150 hours of play for a first character by community estimates, and Blizzard has announced no WoW Token or paid boost for Forever. If the Hunter changes above are why you are rolling one, this is what skipping the climb costs on the pre-order market.
Market prices: pre-order listings on lfcarry.com, wowvendor.com, skycoach.gg, kingboost.net and others, checked 2 October 2026. Our own rates go up when realms open — no one can deliver Forever gold before 4 November.
